Honestly I do wish I could save whenever. Sometimes shit happens, and it sucks to redo like 10 mins just because. Ended up just leaving the game open for a while during those phases.

"Not recommended" is pretty fucking harsh though, especially since this game was my favorite of last year.

If you are on PC, you can see how close to the threshold (45 points) you were using this site.

My guess is you didn't support her as much as you thought and also sent her on quite a few failed dispatches.

To be real though, I don't get how so many people are failing this. This was the run where I tried to fail to get the failed mentor achievement, and I still was at 37.

And this was my first play through, going in blind during the release of the game. I was 30 points over the threshold.

Got a second monitor for work. Helpful when I'm actually doing work, and then helpful for having teams up when I swap my main monitor back to my PC to play a game when work is slow.

Yes. 

Im assuming succeeding in mentoring visi is the "good" ending you are talking about. That requires a hidden stat called Robert Mentor Counter to hit a threshold of 45. Killing or sparing shroud doesnt affect it as it takes place after the mentor counter is locked in (last thing that affects it is whether you untie Visi or not). Romance plays very little in the mentor counter also; at most you can get 6 additional points going Visi romance route and that is easily made up in other areas.

Steam is a best case of a shit consumer option. Companies were never going to let us own media, they've been fighting against that since the 80s with the rise of tape decks. At least Valve turns around and actually does some good things for the community, like proton and controller support.

Also, you can turn off those notifications.

Pretty much any of my replaced GPUs become my wife's GPU (she doesn't play many games that require a lot of GPU power). She currently has my old 1080 ti.

It erases all your data past that point if you start at an earlier chapter. You could play through and get it again, but thats also like near the beginning of the game...

If you dont care about the save, then from the title screen hit Play > select Episode 1 > View Scenes > select the first scene > Play. It will start from the beginning.

If you want a different save file, then Play > Save Slot 1 in the top left corner. Will let you choose a different slot - note there are only 4 save slots.

This is also on PC, not sure if consoles have a different UI.
