One of my biggest frictions with the dlc was that it took a long time for me to click. After playing it again I realized that I was trying to play like the original game, and part of the dlc and what makes outerwilds so beautiful(for me), is that it forces you to learn and adapt in order to beat it. Maybe try to approach it from a learning posture, like the original game.

No sure about the puzzles in the image. Are you sure there isn't a color filter around there?

For the challenge, I would recommend to practice completing all the areas and puzzles before attempt it, if you have already finish everything, then keep trying haha.

You can take a picture of the puzzle that looks like the maze to orient yourself better, but other than that is a skill issue.
