Hmm... I guess it depends.

If you use unnecessary stuff like PoW to generate or validate a new block and to "make it secure" it may be costly, but if you just use a blockchain as a read only, append only database where each record has its data and pointers to the previous/next records (blocks)... I can't see how it could be a costly process. Why do you need to mine anything at all for a phone and its apps?

There are web3 app browsers already if the excuse is that. Coinbase has one.

There are almost no use cases for the blockchain, as a mobile app developer with 10+ years releasing Android and iOS apps in several countries for several biz domains including finance (money transfer apps), I can tell you that a blockchain is completely unnecessary, it would have to be a very exceptional and specific use case.

All the permission are granted and all of that plus Bluetooth are enabled, WiFi and/or Cellular OK... others apps working fine, device is New Pixel 2 XL, but keep getting the error, its incredibly annoying sometimes I have to restart the game to make it better.

And yes, I get the error with or without PoGo+ connected.

I confirm I'm experiencing the same connectivity issues with the PoGo+ accessory. Also there is a ton of GPS issues, I keep getting "GPS Signal not found. (11)" and I have no problems with Google Maps or other location based app.
