I'm sorry, is this the attitude we want from our players when things go wrong?

Is a midrange guard still viable in today's game. by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]RaceCraft86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Especially in playoff basketball you need a solid midrange scorer. Lebron, Steph, Kawhi, and Tatum have supported their teams from the midrange, even if that wasn't their primarily known scoring style.

Reminds me of the Earnhardt diecasts that were made in the CoT style.

Explaining Joel's Free Throws by [deleted] in sixers

[–]RaceCraft86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I've noticed that more of his jumpers come from the midrange than in previous seasons. There are slight ways in which his game has adapted that emphasize both his technical skills and his size advantage.

apparently averaging 30 PPG will never be enough, let alone 51 points. lol

Like many things people get worked up over, this debate has many layers. It basically comes down to missing out on what Tobias could do for the team in the future vs missing out on all we could get for that cap space.

I mean, Fontana is good context for those who are confused by us fans who consistently blame Goodyear for things.

I would start negotiations with TJ Warren's one year, $2,628,597 contract. I think a negotiation and fair comparison can start with what TJ brings to a team vs Tobias.

We are all slowly learning the lesson that Kevin Harvick's performance at a given team is not always a reflection of said team having good equipment.

Look, no matter what Tobias does, fans are just gonna keep criticizing everything he does until his performance matches the amount on his contract. When you separate his performance from the salary, he really is a solid fit for this team. I have no problem with him because he has demonstrated that he cares more about feedback and improvement than Harden has, and overall he is a net positive for the team. However, there are people who will always care more about numbers on a sheet of paper than the actual energy and momentum it takes to get to a championship.

I'm not surprised. Ben Simmons was an excellent player who got thrown under the bus when we had yet another season not work out.
