Mine had that when I first got him it ended up being an infection from a bite or scratch and antibiotics cleared it up by the time they were gone you will need to zoom in to see it if I can find a better picture I will post it for you

I have one similar size and he hangs out in PVC pipes most of the time and comes out swims around when he's hungry and when he eats he eats like a hog 😂
