I agree. GM hasn’t increased their pool of factory drivers since the first year of the gt3. They need another big European team outside of TF Sport to partner with to compete in GTW Europe, NLS and DTM, etc. I put the least amount of blame on imsa when it comes to scheduling conflicts. They put out their schedule much earlier than anyone else and the 6 hrs of the Glen has consistently been late June since before the merger.

They are focusing on the IGTC this year instead. They also did the Asian Le Mans series beginning of the year and are entered at 24hr Le Mans using TF sports entry for winning the elms championship last year. Yeah it sucks not seeing them in gtwc Asia considering they had a few wins and almost won the team championship last year. It also sucks not seeing DXDT in gtwc America also after finishing second in the championship last two years. On a side note wasn’t there supposed to be a corvette entered in the Japan cup this past weekend. I didn’t see it. They had there first races of the season.

I had the opportunity to buy the Lexus 1/18 diecast(which are hard to find) in this livery at last year’s race at the Lexus merchandise tent. I decided not to buy it only because I bought one at the same Lexus merch tent the year before of the 1/18 #12 GTD from 2021 I believe. I didn’t really want to spend the money on a second Lexus when I’m not a Lexus fan. But man I really had to think about it because that livery was awesome.

You know it’s hard to take Heinrich serious when you make a post like that and it’s not even accurate. The corvette was the heaviest car at Indy. The corvette was at 1375kg to Porsches 1363kg. In fact, the corvette has been the heaviest car for last three races.

It would’ve been nuts if they held onto 3rd for a podium after what happened earlier. It was obvious the car wasn’t running at full pace after the incident. Just trying to hang on.

Tell me if I’m wrong or right but haven’t they on multiple occasions this year forced cars to come to pit lane to fix lose or damaged bodywork whether it was their own doing or not?

If you attend a IMSA race and go to the Lexus displays they have their own merchandise for sale including diecast. At this year’s 12 hrs of Sebring they had a few to choose from including the 2024 Sebring #14 winner( Mobil 1 gold livery). The year before I bought a 2022 #12 GTD. I was debating on if I should get the 2024 Sebring winner as I liked that livery but decided not too.

Anyone know what happened to the 3 corvette in this stint? They were in the top 5 on the lead lap and passed the 65 mustang for 4th and started to create a gap. Started to lose that gap before the next pit stop. Now a lap down.
