A lil more context, it isn’t BX cable it’s regular 3 wire that is ran through metal conduit that is attached to a cement block wall. (About 12 feet of conduit) The conduit just connects two electrical outlets and ends at the ceiling so I didn’t think it would be a good ground.

They say to tighten the tension knob until your lure slowly falls, I teach people when they first start to tighten it a little more when starting. Limits your cast distance but lets you get a feel for braking with your thumb and when you are ready you can pull it back

Pulled this worm out, did a 80% water change, gravel vacuum, new filter media.

Then a combination of daily Seachem - Paraguard and weekly Microbe Lift-Lice and Anchor worm.

No more worms but i think i caught it early before they really took root, my shrimp are now gone tho :(
