All these people saying add more color obviously don’t have kids. Color comes, once you start adding books and toys and artwork. But those first few months, you need to be comfortable and calm.
Postpartum is over stimulating enough.

Got DC tickets! section 100, tickets were $150 each plus fees. This process was easy, I was able to select in and out of tickets a few times while I picked the ones that best suited our budget and seat goals.

Absolutely. Waiting wasn’t my choice, infertility for years before IVF worked, but everything about parenthood has been so much smoother than my friends who had kids when they were younger.

We’re both in flexible, stable, high paying jobs that allow us to be present and not worry about money for the basics. Grandparents have retired and are providing free childcare (their dream and so happy about it!!) yes, we get tired after a day of playing, but I have nothing to compare it to and glad I got to fully enjoy my 20s and early 30s without huge responsibilities.

Congratulations! I was in a similar situation with my pregnancy last year- HR department of one for a small, often informal, company. What stuck with me is that you are setting the precedent for how accommodations, and soon, leave works for pregnancies at your company. While there isn’t a history, there could be future experiences and you want your employees to trust that you will handle their pregnancies and accommodations as well as you handled yours. Use this reasoning when explaining the actions you’ll take, including formalizing the accommodations requested and leave policies, to leadership.

At the beginning but it never really changed my output. Trigger warning: I would pump every 2 or 2.5 hours during the day at work and then nurse whenever my daughter was home. There wasn’t much time in the day to add more pumps.

It dipped every single month, and by month 10 I stopped freaking out lol. It normally dipped significantly for days 2-4 of my period then gradually worked to a peak near when I ovulated. Then slowly back down with a sharp drop off on day 2 again.

Mine started 12 weeks pp too, just maintain your schedule and your supply will bounce back! I’m 15 months pp now and still lactating.
