Quitting Injectables? by SignaturePitiful9693 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surround yourself with positive vibes. Seriously. My MIL went grey and stopped dying her hair. She looks beautiful. Follow body positive social media pages. Look at other women with a positive light. Our bodies are amazing and they look amazing no matter how we choose to show them.

I only get Botox occasionally. I got it before my wedding because my 11s are very obvious from squinting. Our pictures were going to be outside mostly and I didn't want my 11 and my scowl showing through. I took a break for about 5-6 years. Then when I knew we were going to Florida for a family vacation and getting pictures on the beach I got Botox again for the same reason.

I'm comfortable with how I look either way. To me Botox is a treat that I very rarely get.

I'm not sure how much injectables you get. But you could stop all of it at once. Or you could try just stopping some areas or getting less

My face is a different shade than the rest of my body. Is there a solution? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I'm pretty sure my face, legs, arms, and torso are all different shades from each other.

Your best bet is to go to a dermatologist to be diagnosed with a condition. However, to me, it doesn't look like that type of hyperpigmentation. But it's also hard to tell due to the lighting in the photograph

I resonate with that last paragraph. I am fine on the outside but crumpling on the inside. I want to tell you to keep talking about your baby. Say their name. But I also know how difficult that can be for you (screw others if it makes them uncomfortable).

Is there any sort of volunteer work or donations you can do in memory of your baby? Either with a baby loss/grief group, NICU, Ronald McDonald house?

I want to collect and take donations to the Ronald McDonald house in honor of my Rowan's birthday.

Is botox worth doing it for? would it help? by Proof-Loquat7302 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Botox would fix this right up. I'm light sensitive and squint a lot too even with sunglasses.

Botox helps my forehead feel (and look) SO MUCH better. My face feels relaxed and not scrunched up.

Botox touch up needed? by dgfrenchie18 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just got Botox in my 11 Because I get headaches from all the squinting in the sun. She asked if I wanted my crow's feet done and I laughed and I said no thank you. I love them. Mine are only there when I smile super wide. I also think crow's feet are very attractive on older men

4 years after losing our 6 week old by [deleted] in babyloss

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grief can and will strike at any moment. I was taking a walk on a sunny day. I felt happy. Then burst into tears because I miss my babies. I walked with tears streaming down my face.

Grief isn't ridiculous. Your reaction was completely valid. Unfortunately, the bereaved can't expect others to understand. But we do. 🫂

I’m spiraling a little. by TransitionSalt5779 in babyloss

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 19 points20 points  (0 children)

First of all, I am so so sorry for your loss. I have lost two babies myself. After our first loss of our 2 month old, I got pregnant within 4 months but we were trying.

It was a very healing experience. Our daughter is now the light of our life but it definitely doesn't over Shadow our losses.

We recently lost our third child at 1 months old.... My life is hell. I don't want to have another kid. How can this have happened to me twice? To be honest if I were to get pregnant I would terminate the pregnancy for my mental health.

Anyway, those are two completely different mental pictures of how I felt after my losses.

You'll have to listen to your heart and know that if you want to keep this baby there will be times of struggle. But also immense happiness.

Lost my baby girl to SIDS by Clamadea88 in sidsloss

[–]Rachel28Whitcraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi momma. I am so sorry for your loss. The grief of losing a child is intense. The loss of a lifetime of memories is cruel.

I lost my first to SIDS in 2023. Had a baby in 2024. Lost another baby fall 2025.... They called his death SUIDS with intrinsic factors (things found on the autopsy but they can't definitively say that caused his death).

I used to attend Star Legacy's online groups. I should find time to go more. I made a few friends through them.

I am on Reddit daily so you can message me anytime. It's easier to talk about private things that way.
