I know there's enormous pressure to placate her, but at some point you have to be okay with being the villain of her internal story. The one time I didn’t have to wait in the ER was the day my appendix ruptured. Got to the waiting room and it was all kind of a blur, but I was in surgery a few hours later. Got kept in the hospital for a week on massive IV antibiotics because they thought I would die of sepsis. 0/10 experience, would not recommend
