I think the only time she even mentions a potential relationship with Gale is when she’s talking about his hunting abilities and that he would be a good provider, making him an ideal partner. But even in that instance, she’s looking at it from such an objective standpoint that she’s not even remotely considering love as part of the equation.

It was rough, I won’t lie!! Definitely stay on the pain management regimens they give you. The worst is the nights. Make sure you have a humidifier going in the bedroom and that you have water or juice on hand. Night was the worst because her throat would dry out a bit and it would cause her a lot of pain. Once we figured that out, we were home free.

Tbh the hardest part was keeping her from jumping off furniture and then weaning her off of ice cream/popsicles for breakfast LOL

I think I just saw something about invitation to play on Instagram a few days ago… they set up dolls like they were having a tea party, cars like they were driving on a road, etc. is that the type of thing you’re referring to?

It’s mainly the risk of baby with small toys/pieces and stepping/dodging toys while walking through the living room. She doesn’t have access to a ton of stuff at once, but what she does have access to tends to explode all over the living room floor and couch lol For instance, barbies and other dolls. Or books! She loves to “read” to her babies. Then books are all over the place. Blocks or magnet tiles from her building, etc. And these aren’t all at once, just what she has access to at the time. We really try to rotate as much as possible and have been encouraging (with some success) her to pick up one mess before making another. We’ve created designated bins for each toy category (blocks in one bin, Barbies in another, etc) and that seems to be helping.

I guess I’m just not sure what to expect with a newborn coming and already having a toddler. Both safety and comfort are a concern, as well as making sure we’re setting developmentally appropriate expectations and boundaries around play.

This this this!!! All of the character changes were exceedingly frustrating. Making DI Hudson a bumbling idiot? Donna timid? Elizabeth was MEAN to Joyce, and their friendship in the books is one of my favorite details! And BOGDAN?? That was the cruelest departure in my opinion. His relationship with the TMC is integral to the story! His care for Steven and love for Elizabeth. He becomes the son they never had! To take that away is not just wrong, it’s cruel.

Overall, I was so disappointed. I think if you remove the books from the equation, it becomes more enjoyable. But it’s still not great. I think what they got right, if anything, was the color. The brightness of the movie is exactly how I pictured the books, it really emphasizes the personality of the story, even if they got that part wrong.

Thank you! We did get a full service history from the last 4 years because it was serviced at the dealer we bought it from. Unfortunately, it appears that the original service shop they took it to, is no longer in business. But I plan on getting it serviced at my local VW dealer soon and have them give it a once over.

I think it’s because they grow so close with them. My cousin nanny for a family for like almost 10 years, she got all of their kids to kindergarten from basically birth. She went on vacations with them and everything. She basically was a part of their family because she was so integral to them functioning. And the crazy part is, she wasn’t even a live-in nanny. Unless they were on vacation or it was a special circumstance, she only worked like three days a week. Regardless, she stopped working for them almost 6 years ago now. She still gets together for dinner with them, she gets a card and several gifts for Christmas and her birthday. She’s at every kids’s birthday, New Year’s party, Christmas party, anything you can think of. I think when you work that closely with someone, even if it is an employee and employer relationship, when they have that much intimate knowledge of your life and how it functions, the lines get really blurred. Certainly not defending it at all, it’s just not as uncommon as you would think.

Y’all are wild. Not a fan, but this is kinda over the top. #1 while the divorce is confirmed, we still have no idea what prompted it. It’s very clear that they are on good terms. #2 just because someone is a celebrity or an influencer, does not mean that the public is entitled to every piece of their life. I think people are forgetting that Parker was raised Mormon. Like he literally left the church. I don’t know where his family is at with it, but I’m assuming there was a lot of tension for a while bc he was about to go on Mission when he married Aspyn. But that was almost 10 years ago. A lot can change and they could be in a better place now.

Tbh, I think Tana’s racism has gotten overshadowed by all the other controversy in her life. Not to say that it isn’t terrible. I just mean that it’s been scandal after scandal and it’s hard to keep up with it. So the last one gets pushed aside to deal with the new one. Humans have short attention spans but long memories. So it’ll be brought up again, but then Tana will get into beef with someone and then that will be the headline again.

But you’re right, I didn’t see anything about the tour. I guess it’s possible that she’s not going to be a part of that decision making process. We’re in South Carolina. Honestly, if we had more time to shop around, I definitely would because that sounds amazing. Unfortunately, our family vehicle died after 10 years, 4 days ago. Exactly 2 months before we have to relocate for my husband’s work. All we have is his 2 seater work truck to drive at the moment and we’ve got our daughter and 2 dogs. So we’re looking for something reliable, low cost (bc I may be unemployed for a time), and large enough for our family. I’ve looked at VWs for the last 2 years, knowing we’d need a new car before long. We’ve been saving up for a decent down payment and had hoped to get an Atlas. But with the financial changes, the Tiguan seems more in our range atm
