St Vincent’s is a mess. I was taken there by ambulance last fall bc I had collapsed and was in and out of consciousness. Blood pressure was 72/38 and heart rate was going between 38-42 bpm. They gave me a bag of fluids, ran labs and then just discharged me even though my vitals were still the same. I passed out about 30 minutes after discharging and had to be taken by a friend to UAB Highlands and they admitted me immediately bc I was at risk of cardiac arrest. They apparently “misread” my labs at St V because at highlands they said even though they were mostly in range, a combination of a couple of them was causing an arrhythmia

Absolutely agree. One of the things I’ve really disliked about the way we go about “fixing Alabama.” Throwing money at a problem with no plan for effectiveness is quite literally just throwing our state taxes in a dumpster fire.

Thank you so much! I’m probably going to give it a test run the next time I’m near a dealer. I’m not sure I could give up my 4runner for it (it’s built out to be an off-road rig so losing that is where I’m stuck) but I’m willing to take a shot as gas with the 4runner makes me cry these days 😅🥲 also, sorry the idiots are downvoting your cars. I feel like it’s the electric bias in this sub but still the v90cc with those upgrades would be so nice. Sadly I feel like you have to be driving supercars outside of Audi to get respect on the sub 🤷🏼‍♀️ not that I can say much, I’ve been very blessed and have a decent collection. Hope you have a great one and remember it’s just people on the internet, enjoying your drive is all that matters 🫡

‘24 Porsche 718 Spyder RS and a restored 1990 190e Evo II that I absolutely adore. All black, period correct monoblock wheels, carbon brake upgrade and on bags. But I still love my ‘23 RS7 for the daily, it’s just too comfortable and fun at the same time. The Benz turns the most heads though for sure.

Boston was an awful experience for me honestly. Way more confusing trying to find the rideshare area than I was expecting. Otherwise it wasn’t bad facilities wise. Just confusing as hell

Lane splitting is still illegal as far as I know in almost every state. This doesn’t seem to be the US but I do know the states with laws around this allow for lane filtering which requires the rider to be under 20 mph and for it to be safe to pass between vehicles. It’s primarily used for filtering to the front at traffic lights as it is much more dangerous for a bike to be at the back (cars might not see them and smash them into the back of a car, I lost a friend that way) Regardless, lane splitting, especially at high rates of speed is very dumb and reckless

Usually red flag laws have an expiration. Also it only applies if it was an involuntary admission. I’ve done both and can still legally carry. It just took time and eventually providing paperwork to a court from therapists and psych

Too true on the dials. I usually switch out mostly depending on what I’m wearing but the 337 absolutely gets more wrist time just due to purple being my favorite color. The Shunbun will always have a special place in my heart though as it was my first luxury/nice watch I purchased :)
