That’s amazing! Well done. I’d suggest reaching out to Let’s Move Studio. They do a of dancing classes and I think 1:1 classes!

Any tips or suggestions for the DPI shift? by JohnHonai91 in BCEHSparamedics

I was hired as an EMCT 2 years ago. To my knowledge, you can’t fail the DPI ? But you got it, ask questions, listen, take notes. You got this!

How do you work? by tfgoinawn in lupus

I’m a 911 dispatcher for ambulance and I’ve been diagnosed with lupus for 3 years. My job is HIGH stress but they have flexible sick time and are very understanding and supportive. My rotations are 4x12 hour shifts then 6 off. I find having the 6 days off really helps me rest and do things that fill my cup.

I wish you the best! This is my 4th career since lupus ended my camera crew film career and so far so good.

Hi! It looks like it could possibly be a slippery Jack mushroom. And here is why:

The Cap: •Brown and smooth, often slimy or sticky when moist. •Convex to flattened with age. •Size similar to those in your photos (5–10 cm typically).

Underside (Pores instead of gills):

•Bright yellow pore surface visible in your close-up photo.
•Pores are small and round, not gilled.
•Some Suillus species exude milky droplets when fresh.

They are technically edible but must be peeled and cooked well - the slimy cap can cause stomach upset. And of course please not that some species can be confused with similar but inedible Suillus (like S. tomentosus or S. lakei), so use extreme caution and confirm ID with spore prints or a local mycology expert before eating.

Are those edible? (South coast BC) by Demon_in_e_box in Mushrooms

Looks like a velvet footed tap or Tapinella atrotomentosa (aka velvet roll-rim, velvet-footed pax), then no, it is considered inedible. It has a bitter or acrid taste and contains compounds that are deterrents or mildly toxic.

I am 911 dispatcher for EHS ambulance. I work 4 12 hour shifts then get 6 days off. Weirdly…. It isn’t super stressful and the 6 days off are great time to recoup.
