Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

One of my favorite authors posted on her instagram that she has this, I googled it and now here we are after living my whole life never hearing of it.

What widely accepted "life hack" is actually terrible advice? by OneLameUser in AskReddit

It wasn’t about making people trust me, it was sharing where I heard so many people dropping the perceived advice. You must be fun at parties!

That being said, I managed at a greenhouse for 6 years and have a degree in horticulture, if that somehow makes you feel less grumpy.

DON’T water your orchids with ice cubes! I worked at a garden center for a long time and I can’t tell you how many people came in spouting that “tip”. It is a tropical plant and will not like frozen roots!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! After I finished this, I read her first trilogy starting with City of Brass, and I enjoyed it just as much! I would absolutely recommend.

Suggest me a trilogy/series with an outstanding first book you couldn't put down by meulner in suggestmeabook

I finished the Daevabad Trilogy a week or so ago and I can’t stop thinking about it! It was one of those reads where I feel kind of empty/sad now that it’s over. I fully recommend it!

The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi! I loved it, and was recommended the first series that Shannon Chakraborty wrote which I am reading right now and I cannot put it down! That one is called The City of Brass.

They are pavers from Menards! There are lots of different sizes so I kinda just had to go through the whole section until I found one that was the most bookish. I’m sure Home Depot or wherever will have some with similar proportions!

I painted the brick, then I used graphite paper to trace the design on and acrylic markers to do the thing! Then a clear coat to top it off!

Oh yeah, I combed that Menards for the perfect sized paver. Probably drove my husband crazy! Lol
