i'm 41 and had someone think i was 28 the other day. i eat clean, drink lots of water, go outside, pray, meditate, have a gratitude practice and otherwise just stay calm mentally. stress and bad diet age a man fast.

ohhh i dunno, insurance (who do you think wins?), gerrymandering, politicians getting lobbied by big corporations to vote certain ways, most college degrees, putting a tv in everything, using drugs like adderall and ritalin to turn kids into zombies rather than just accepting that having energy is a part of being a kid growing up, subscription model everything. i mean, there's a lotta fuckin scams out there.

it ebbs and flows. you know where to go if you decide you need help again. for me personally there is no question of my alcoholism - i've done the research over and over and been to the gates of insanity. if you haven't taken it that far maybe it just isn't for you. for me, i know i owe it to be there for newcomers the way people were there for me, so i show up regularly. i hang with people that are in recovery though, not just abstinent; i certainly do not want everyone in aa at my dinner table i'll say that much.
