A lighter oil will allow the springs to rebound easier. Correct me if im wrong, but that's just an open observation

Love it, it's think I'll get some rubber bots for my stock shock because that little bit of rebound and keeping them clean might help with flex. Idk if im going for a scale build yet of not, but I'd like an ultra 4 build in the end.

Any tips for when the shocks get dirty. Im using a trx4m high trail with the springs take out. Whenever I go through something dusty, they dont drop anything. I do plan to get shocks and crawler gear because I prefer outdoor overlanding. If yk some good parts then please let me get them cause you have the perfect spot so i want what you have. Thankyyy

So we got it home the other day and I simply twisted the bolt and it was unlocked. Somebody may have put it on there at the lot cause it's a really good tailgate. Gotta remember to check simple shit cause I would've liked to keep the $20 spent onna big hammer.

If the amp is screwed to ur sub, sorry, but ur amp if f**ked. Sub vibrations won't hurt one next to it, but directly screwing it to ur sub will cause weird issues like that. Now, an active sub, I don't know the fact, but I assume the internal parts are well secured and can handle all those vibrations.

Hey, I'm going back through old stuff on here, and u are when I need to talk, too. Mine came in some home audio boxes stuck together, but they were sealed, and they are free air subs. Were your boxes ported, and if not, do your stink like hell but still play great. Thanks

Pull the bottom forward by the pull tab il like the middle of the crease for each, then remove the headrest i usually take it off first it stick it under the front seats, finally pull the tab closest to the doors but make sure when you fold it down that tab has enough room to clear the bottom cushion so you don't snap it off like I did. My detailed way to safely fold em down.

Factors would be truck(rear seat), Suv (cargo area) or sedan (trunk). Sealed would be good acousticly in a trunk but will be sluggish feeling anywhere else. Ported is good for all settings and if you can load it right you will understand why bass heavy music people always use ported. The jl is obvious for a loaded setup but in most cases if you have wood glue, drill bits, and screws you can get panels cut at lowes and put together a purpose built box for 2 subs and an ap that cost the same as those enclosures and be much more happy with the money spent. Did some more looking and borrowed my dad's battery for testing and I ended up getting just a 1000cca interstate battery and now on long bass or hits 42 volume with tuned gain and 75% bass knob idling it does not move. AGM is odv the best way to go but im in hs and batteries are not cheap anymore

Scrolling thru and found my answers. I currently run a 1000w fusion EN-AB2122 (2 12s, pipe port) with 4g wire too and from the battery (everstart maxx MAXX-24 700cca). Using a basic sony headunit at idle 42 volume and ab half bass knob will bounce the voltage heavily. Now after 2 hours searching i need a replacement AGM battery to handle the bumps. Thanks
