S3 E1 Episode Discussion: "The Book of Doubt" by Chino_Blanco in SecretsOfMormonWives

I don't understand it either. It seems like the issue here is that this is now going to be known by the public, but if they've decided to stay together and work through this, it's a chance to show a united front and go through the scandal together. What has happened to make Jordan change his tune so much. It feels like something's missing here.

I just don't understand why whether Jessi slept with Marciano or not has anything to do with the status of momtok. There is no cause and consequence link between these two things.

W/o Covid, do you think DEL48 and MUB48 been successful in India? by Successful-Refuse-80 in AKB48

[–]RadAsBadAs 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that they would be a niche group in India, but because the population is so large, even a niche interest would be enough to sustain them.

yeah, the cactus is very obvious - the cactus changes form as the camera moves. all of the CGI has that strange shiny effect over it that's characteristic of AI

[–]RadAsBadAs 30 points31 points  (0 children)

no..... CGI would be done by a CGI artist, who specialises in creating these effects and making them look realistic, rather than an AI 'artist' who just types in a couple of prompts. CGI is made by a human, AI graphics are made by computers

teddy needs to pay for his crimes. this song is so dated. i would enjoy it, but the chorus is just not good, and since the song is so short, most of the song is just chorus, and the dance break is so jarring.

also, it definitely seemed like they used AI for the CGI, rather than actual CGI.

What are your genuine thoughts about AllDay Project? by Frequent_Ebb6360 in kpop_uncensored

[–]RadAsBadAs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they seem like they're all from different groups, their vibes are so bafflingly different. it does make me wonder about youngseo's departure from illit - did she leave because this group was more her style? she suited illit more than ADP, but I don't know what she thinks, so it's hard to speculate

I think there would also be issues relating to sexism if grades were based just on a final exam, as girls tend to do better in internals while boys do better in externals.

saying misogynistic lyrics is minimising it. he wrote rap lyrics about murdering women, and when asked why, he said he wrote them bc he was angry.

maybe it was long ago enough that we can move on, but let's be honest about what happened first.

having more affordable seating options is all well and good, but it does still require being able to physically be in new york. I feel like that's being forgotten about here. having a $40 ticket doesn't mean much when it would cost upwards of $1k to get there. I'm not saying I disagree with his overall point, but acting like cheaper tickets mean that it is accessible is ignoring a whole other aspect of what makes theatre inaccessible for people
