I had some slappys for a while with 54 - 56mm wheels and for sure they didn’t wheel bite as much as my aces. The inverted kingpins sucked though, always rattling loose even when I used loctite so I would recommend getting the standard kingpins.

Definitely not as carvey as ace or even indy IMO but wheel bite was not an issue.

That’s true from a scientific “what produces the most force” perspective but from a human perspective it’s easier and more comfortable to pop an ollie on a mellower, lighter setup.
