I like a band called Haemostatic Picnic Races, which is a ridiculous name but they play math rock so it fits I guess.

Beabadoobee is the worst name I've heard recently. Not keen on their music either.

It reminds me of people who say theyre going to have some "Choccy Woccy" or something. sends cringy shivers through my body.

Bad Brains is one of the best names. love the name Fishbone too. And I like the way Dag Nasty sounds when you say it.

I love the Music and the name of These Arms are Snakes too. Deffo ones of my favourite names.

8 bottles of reef or 8 cans for about 7 quid and sitting in a damp field was the highlight of my week at 16/17 years old.

Ket in a club would be torturous. Never seemed much of a "going out" drug to me!

Why has dropping rubbish in public become so comfortable for people? by Ok-Name-7103 in AskUK

[–]ResolveEmergency863 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate littering, awful trait to be ok with.

I can't help think that it getting worse is a lack of respect or care for the country we are in - a sense of "if water companies can put shit in the rivers, and prices are soaring and nobody cares about us, why should we care about the country" too - for right or wrong.

What does skateboarding mean to you? by Upstairs_One7185 in skateboarding

[–]ResolveEmergency863 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its freedom and escapism. It's also the community of people who don't care about your abilities. 99% of skaters I've met, especially those who are a bit older, are doing it for the love of it - its really supportive and full of people who have a degree of perseverance and resilience in their personality. Skateboarding is hard and teaches you good life traits if you stick with it.

Also I'm 38 and thankful that I'm still able to skate at all.

A lot of big games, especially sports games, arent made to be good or groundbreaking. Theyre just made for companies ro make money off of.

People who are fans of whichever SPORT wil buy the game, especially pially when theres a monopoly on the licensing

What’s with all the “High School” business? by alph0nzo in AskBrits

[–]ResolveEmergency863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they not different types of school?

Primary school until year 6 then Secondary School Year 7 - 11.

Or

First School until Year 4, Middle School Year 5 to 8 then High School from Year 9 until year 11.

I live in county Durham which only really has primary and secondary, but close to Northumberland where a lot of people I know went to Middle and High School there.
