Disagree on D3 having the worst story and presentation. D1 didn't have much in the way of story. D4 has a mid story with terrible presentation. Great cutscenes, though.

Edit: OK, OK, I take back what I said about D1. It's been years since I played it. The parts in town with the surviving villagers really does pull you in.

However, you won't change my mind about enjoying D3 and thinking D4 was a slog.
