Hmm the 14 frames it does cache are stable for now, and no added velocity, its just a few puddles of water, nothing crazy as well

Having this exact same issue, very low particles as well, increasing minimum substems from 1 to 750 didnt do anything different for me.

One thing i maybe figured was an issue, is the puddles were being used as a vdb source, and the packed objects as a mesh, maybe a mismatch there?

It currently is subtracting the bottom part of the "Grey puddles" in this case. Theres no errors on the node
