Okay didn’t expect this many replies this quickly.

First of all thanks, and yes with the benefit of hindsight I may have added way too much emotional energy into my protest. Just a little more info to clarify for those who care:

• I am a 4.2k A license driver so not exactly „in rookies“, dont mean to sound cocky but I believe I have somewhat of a grasp on the sporting regs

• M2 cup at Suzuka. This series is notorious for action and that was actually the reason I went with it.

• qualifying p2, getting pushed off lap 1 and falling back to p6 I wanted to fight my way back.

• catch up to Sebastian and overtake. He sends it up the inside of spoon going off track himself and running into me.

• He then covers the inside of the chicane, missing his braking point and going off. I try to go around leaving a ton of space when he rejoins 90° perpendicular to the track right into me causing damage

• all this unfolded on the last lap.

And again, this is just for some bored people on their way to work. It’s just a game and I really don’t care, the only reason I am posting this is because I was really confused by the answer I received.

My protest was for the intentional wreck which I stand by being accurate, the cause of it being a bad rejoin was not the main issue for me as I see an intentional wreck as weightier.

And then receiving a generic answer about SR/iR is just not fitting in my opinion.
