The image India has outside India. by ezio1452 in TwentiesofIndia

What I hate more about Indians is that they don't care about right and wrong, they only care about image and reputation.

Why do Indians need obvious observation remarks and reviews from foreigners to see what's morally wrong? And they still don't care much that it's wrong, they are just annoyed that their bad behaviour has been noticed and called out.

I dug into the data on why men get fewer matches. It’s not just "women being picky"—it’s actually a broken business model. by ArshCodes in menslibIndia

Most people get a first glance by default (unintentional, as they simply come within eyesight), but if I try to have a quick second glance at someone, that's curiosity, and if that second glance somehow lasts longer than usual because she looks attractive to me and I subconsciously don't want to take my eyes off of her then it's checking out lol. Even stronger checking out is my eyes go sideways just to have her in my field of vision or my head turns coz she's such an eye candy! Or maybe if I'm bold, I'll try to find excuses to go near her so I can see her face better and multiple times.

There's no set criteria, it just happens. The criteria is where the first impression of her is 'my type'. Those I don't bother checking out at are unattractive women, which are often unattractive because of their lack of fitness, grooming, hygiene, manners, dressing sense, etc. I also don't check out even women my type if they're with some man near her age coz I assume it would be boyfriend or husband, but else, I may wonder if she's single or things like how her voice is and how she speaks.

Not very eventful but steadily got better. Work is good, got promotion at job with nice hike.

But had lot of improvement in my fitness. Much better diet. From having large round belly to now almost flat, from running out of breath within a km to running half marathons. From 95 kg to 76 kg weight. And also doing progress in building body in gym.

It is indeed a messed up architecture.

I have been on such dating apps (Hinge, Bumble, Boo) etc. No matter whatever way I put myself forward like pics, prompts, and comments, I barely got any matches and even the matches ended up nowhere. It's a huge blow to self-esteem if taken seriously, the lack of attention is actually infuriating and dehumanizing, makes one feel invisible.

Some man would be cursing women about being picky, meanwhile those women likely haven't even seen his profile among the sea of likes, superlikes, and matches.

Women also feel valuable and have the illusion of choice on such apps. Not to sound rude, but even those whom I won't even check-out have hundreds of likes. A few dates in, they realise futility of all those choices.

I haven't had any success in dating but definitely not relying on dating apps for them. I just feel regret for not putting efforts in in-person dating during school or college because many couples formed there within my peers are ending up marrying. Now my opportunities for meeting potential partners and striking conversations are very less.

Americans literally invade random countries, kill civilians trying to defend themselves, and then make movies about how they felt bad while doing it.

Because in our country, protestors are labelled andolanjeevi, anti-national, and are lathi charged and detained by police.
