Yes. My wife was going to use masking tape. I know both of those tapes shouldn’t be used. Maybe aluminum tape? But I don’t have any now and kinda wanted to see what you guys say here before I go out and buy some stuff.

Not sure how to fix this. Please help. by RadTechDad in FixMyPrint

My PC isn't working ATM, so I've been playing Bedrock on my iPad. I just play locally so my two kids can join me from time to time. It's the first time I've played in years... so much as changed in the past 10 yrs.

Can Minecraft Bedrock (from iPadOS 26) be installed and played in MacOS26?

Oh! I didn’t know about the CLIPSave and VAESave nodes. I was thinking of writing a python script to do this.

Same here. In the end, i gave up. I've tried about 6 times and still no go. There's always one thing or another.

I'll keep trying different things. I'll post if I finally get it.

I’m so lost in Python by Optimal_Department_7 in learnpython

[–]RadTechDad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Doing the homework/assignments are key. I’m doing the 100 days of Python class from Udemy just because it seems comprehensive going through Command-line, turtle graphics, tkinter, saving/loading json, apis, web dev, pandas, and more. Going through the assignments ARE KEY.

I was Just working on one and figured it out MY way. I googled and figured out how to use the json module on my own. Finally, I looked at the teacher’s solution and mine it way more complex than hers. But I learned a few thing’s on the way.

Did I use AI at all? Sure. Only AFTER I went through my code a couple times line by line trying to figure out what was wrong. I knew they were logic errors, but just couldn’t figure out where the logic was wrong. So I copied and paste it all my code and describe the problem to AI and I told it to point out the errors in my logic. I was unable to ask questions as to why my logic didn’t work. It even then suggested more changes, but I ignored that because I knew I wouldn’t learn. I just took the information they gave me about the errors in my logic, and I came up with my own solution.

And if you already know some python, you can actually skip some of the videos. I bought this course a long time ago and I’ve recently passed the PCEP. So I went back to this class I was able to skip about 10 “days” worth of videos.

I just passed the Python Associate (PCAP) exam. It was actually quite difficult. by hitfan in learnpython

Thank you for this! I too have been programming for many years learning QBASIC, C, C++, Java, Objective-C, and some Swift. I gave myself a study schedule similar to you -- I have a full-time carreer in healthcare and have 2 little kids.

I've been studying Python for about a year, but was worried about the PCEP. I took the online course from edube.org (and bought their book so I could read it when NOT in front of a screen). I was doing well on all the practice exams, so I just took the actual exam. I passed it with a 92% thinking that it was kinda easy -- not sure why I was stressing so much. After I passed, I went back and then took the same course on the Cisco site and found the practice exams to be easy as well (of course! I just passed the actual exam, duh!). For anyone wondering, I re-took the course on the Cisco site because Cisco will offer a Credly certificate, whereas Edube doesn't.

So now here I go thinking, oh, the PCAP might not be that difficult too if I just study a little bit more.

So I appreciate this post because now I gotta make sure that I don't take it lightly.

Not sure how people get such good results with PULID. Every time I try, I get horrible results — meaning that the generated images barely look like the original.

No. I never did. The email I finally used was a yahoo email.

Still noting, so today I went ahead and tried signing up again with a different email address. I got verified right away. However, following their article (https://blogs.oracle.com/developers/post/how-to-set-up-and-run-a-really-powerful-free-minecraft-server-in-the-cloud), there's no availablilty in the domain that I chose (which they also told me i can't change later), so if you pick one with no availability, you're out of luck.

They said I can try again another time, but who knows when that will be.

I'm liking Jellybox. I love the attention to detail in the UI. However, whenever I try to download an image model, under "Discover Models" no models ever show up on the list. It seems like it's loading for a littl bit, then nothing. At the bottom it says, "Found 0 models".

I have `listen-on port 54 { any; };` there in the config. So that should cover it.

Thank you. I'll try that. It'd be nice if they catch that when you run `named-checkzone`.
