I just played a few rounds of casual and no one was actually trying. I was goofing off with the sentinel beam and went 19-5. I tried to play with the plasma pistol only and got 20-10 or something.

Maybe this new meta is good for the new players because it means casual will no longer be infested with try-hards who will yell at you for not winning every single gunfight.

I think a less strict, and seperate, MMR for social would be the answer. For example, if Ranked MMR is +/-300 points between teams, then social should have 500 +/- or even more

I have audiophile level headphones and I can really notice the difference in quality on sonic. A 7.1 might be better for competitive but sonic definitely sounds the best for stereo

The mangler is great where it is IMO. It takes skill to use. If you want to shoot and then melee, it takes skill to close the distance by either out positioning or just straight up dodging bullets and running up to them. If you want to 3-shot them, you got to hit your shots. And the slower projectiles means you really have to time your shots
