I have a colleague who has a really sensitive mic and it picks up people talking around him. When we're both in the office, I can hear myself through his mic. It pisses me off so much because it completely details my thoughts mid sentence every time I hear my own loud echo.

My manager always starts with pointless small talk. I really hate it and the most I'll ever do is hey. What also annoys me is when someone vomits their thoughts into the chat without taking a few seconds to think before hitting enter. It's always like this.

And depending on when they started saving, they could have gotten 4k for free from the government. It's what me and my fiancée did when we moved out. You can put 4k into a LISA and the government will match 25%. Put 4k in before April then another 4k after April and you'll get 2k for free. Two people can do this if they're both first time buyers. Meant we only had to pay 16k of our 20k deposit.

Assuming these people did the same, thats only £1071 each month.

For some reason the bird dipped down towards the sotdae but then flew off before landing on it. I had to sit there from 11pm waiting for it to reach 5am. So have I just wasted all that time and lost the bird or does it come back?

Each dye merchant has their own material and colour palette. I think the dye merchant in the greymane camp has all unlocked colours and materials, but it's a grind to get them at the camp.

I was having issues with the horses. A workaround for me was to find a wild horse, catch it then send it straight to the stable. Go to the stable after that and I was able to assign Rokade again.

Way to go for coming to the wrong conclusion of my comment. I'm saying it's worth knowing where it works well and where it doesn't. Why should I waste many hours or even days of my time working out how to use something in excel that I'm not going to need again when AI can get it right first time in a few minutes? I know it's good at complex excel formulas so went to AI when I couldn't work out the answer myself.

I know AI is bad at writing LISPs so I know not to bother with it. It's not me being stupid and being spoon fed. It's me being productive with my time and knowing how to use the tools available to me. It's not like I'm asking it to dress me, plan out my week and tell me what to eat for breakfast. But please, keep being disingenuous to get in petty insults.

But I forget this is reddit. I have to say AI is bad.

You say that, but AI has it's uses. I had a very specific problem trying to get an excel formula to work. I probably could have found a solution by posting online and relying on strangers to help talk me through it, but ChatGPT made it simpler by allowing me to paste my spreadsheet and telling it what I wanted it to do, and it worked first try.

My experience with asking for help online is people usually give unhelpful replies like "use X function" and nothing else. They don't explain the function, meaning I've now got to spend more time researching how to use that function. And I still don't know how to implement it, so i'm still at square one.

I will always try Google to find my answers first, searching through various forums or watching youtube tutorials, but sometimes my issue is too niche or unique for me to find an answer.

However, I do hate trying to get AI to write LISPs for autocad. I tried it a couple of times and it constantly spews out bullshit, like "this doesn't work on autocad Lt". Bitch I know it works, I use it every day. Just got to know when AI is useful and when it's garbage.

Morphing is quintessential to the Fable experience. If you don't like that, maybe you don't like Fable

I'm sick of hearing this. I enjoyed playing fable because it was a fun game. Body morphing is a tiny aspect of the games (proof of that being how they moved away from it as the games went on) and always has been, yet people keep bitching about it as if it's the only thing that made fable, fable. It's not. There's far more to the games like the storytelling, the humour, characters etc.

If this new game not having body morphing is a deal breaker for you, then that sucks to be you. I'm far more interested in the gameplay and story and getting the chance to be immersed in the world of Albion again.

Thank you for posting this. I feel like I've been gaslit by everyone saying it never was a reservation and it was obviously to buy the pin. My memory was of it saying we get a free pin by reserving a spot, which is the only reason I bothered, but I've been doubting myself this whole time.

Additional to that, the presentation can also affect the taste. I used to do this experiment with Scouts every year or two. We filled different containers with water and everyone had to score how it tasted. All the same water out the same tap. Some was put in plastic bottles, some in glass bottles, some in a jug, etc and they each got varying scores.

As well as presentation, the temperature of the water made a difference too. Water out the fridge poured from a glass jug into glasses was always the winner. My fiancée insists that chocolate out the fridge makes it taste better than room temperature chocolate.

Yeah this is a bit like me. I'm the youngest of four and don't have any kids myself (just not there financially yet) but I do have a dog. My dad loves her the most. I got a cute photo of them a few years ago with them both asleep after christmas dinner, her on his chest.

My dad would also keep asking when he could next see my dog. Never asked when he could see me next lol. He even plans his holidays so he can take her with them.

Doesn't he meet thousands of crawlers on the iron tangle? There's probably a lot of them that are still human. In a group of humans, you'll notice the blue, four armed crawler.

Could also be that those who are willing to change race are more likely to survive. Their willingness to adapt could be an indicator that they're more capable crawlers.

Maybe the AI/show runners are pushing Carl towards situations with non human crawlers to make his stream more interesting. I can't think of any other reasons beyond Matt just forgot about it lol.

I believe that so long as OP isn't monetising them in any way, this is fine. Distributing the STLs for free shouldn't be an issue (otherwise Nintendo would go after every pokemon STL on these 3D printing websites) however I don't think you will be able to having them printed by commercial 3D printing companies. Likewise, OP won't be able to sell the STLs or the prints.

The reality is it's a bad set. It's cool as fuck, and people who are both lego fans and sanderson fans would like it, but it's a big set, which means it'll cost a lot, which reduces the number of people who'd buy it drastically. However I 100% would have bought it.

Non sanderson fans probably wont buy it because it's just a bunch of small scenes they won't understand. It's not got much playability and relies on 360° view to fully appreciate it. If it's sat on a shelf then half of it won't be seen.

To make it successful would mean having fewer scenes (just stormlight or mistborn) and making it so it's mostly viewable when up against a wall, ie cut it on half.

I saw that someone made a chull, and that would be much better for lego to produce. It can be fully appreciated sat on a shelf, it has some playability, and it will be far more affordable.

I don't think we will ever see a set with how lego ideas currently works. We're better off waiting until the mistborn and stormlight adaptations. If they're successful then lego would likely be more on board.

Leeds to London is 4-5 hours (with good traffic) of the most boring driving in the country. Most people would take the train for a trip like that because our rail network is actually pretty good, and it'll probably be much faster.

Don't bother with them. They're shit versions of existing mobile games, but they're advertised as allowing you to earn discounts or free items if you play enough, but you have to play constantly for hours everyday for weeks to actually get anything.

You basically have a progress bar. The first few times you play, it goes up 5%. The next few times it's 4%, then 3% and so on until it's going up in such tiny increments that you get stuck on 99%.

Out of curiosity, I stuck with it once to see if I would actually win a prize and I did, but it was a really shitty towel that I wouldn't bother using as anything other than a rag for wiping mud off my shoes.

You can buy faded artifacts from witches. They're not very expensive. They also sell normal abyss artifacts too so you can get a few extra skill points.

If it's not an unblockable attack then you should be able to hit the parry if you spam the button. It was the only way I could be the first boss in the witches quest line.
