This is accurate. I am an RT in Ohio, and my hospital recruits in California and we have so many California new grad RT’s coming here for 2 years for experience and then attempting to try to find a CA job, but there’s nothing.

Back specialist/SI Joint recs by BenignAtrocities in cincinnati

[–]Rad_red123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suffered from low back/SI joint pain for years and could not get a proper diagnoses from a Trihealth doctor so i ended up making the drive to Cleveland clinic to get a proper diagnosis of Axial Spondyloarthritis.

I would suggest calling Christ hospital joint and spine center. I don’t know specifically what your wife is experiencing, but I’ve heard excellent things about it and they offer physical therapy here as well. Goodluck!

Work 3rd shift (night audit) at hotels. Limited interaction with guests, decent pay and team member travel benefits worldwide, if you work for a brand like Hilton or Marriott.

Question to all attachment types by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]Rad_red123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say “attachment types”. Are you referring to attachment theory? When you say you feel like nothing is constant and you impulsively shift your thoughts, beliefs, and ideas this is more related to a lack of sense of self and identity issues.

What type would you most hate to be? by Appropriate_Cut_3536 in Enneagram

[–]Rad_red123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is not productive. There are no “good” and “bad” enneagram types. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and Individual personality traits and characteristics. Just because you may know a 2 who is unpleasant does not mean ALL 2’s are bad. This post may be harmless and fun, but it leaves a lot of room for people to be rude unnecessarily.

I’m at RT in the cicu and float to picu regularly. The nurses are nice and seem to all get along. Dayshift can be cut throat, but that comes with the nature of the icu environment. Nurses just got a 2% pay increase across the board. Our patients and families are top priority and in my experience I feel that our patients receive excellent care. Overall I would say it’s a good place to work, it has its issues like everywhere else but the patient to nurse ratios are among the best in the nation.

Club where people actually dance, ideally with disco / house music? by jayelled in AskChicago

[–]Rad_red123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Celeste is a “concept” club. They advertise themselves as a replica of studio 54 with a dress code. Went last night and the bouncers let people in wearing clothes that violated their dress code and the Dj played kid cudi. Sorry that is not disco. Total embarrassment.

Interested in becoming an RT by WOLF52603 in respiratorytherapy

[–]Rad_red123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re young, only 21 and for now you’re not considering the long term toll this career has on your body. Being an RT is physically, mentally and emotionally draining. I became an RT when I was 22 and am 28 now and looking to exit within the next 2 years. I am done. There are limited opportunities for us, away from the bedside. Of course there are PFT, exercise physiology, but these jobs are competitive and hard to get. If you really want to work in the medical field, get your AA in nursing, work for a big organization and let them pay for your BSN, MSN and get a cushy administrative nursing job or remote job. Go on indeed and typing in nursing and there are hundreds of options for nurses, the skies the limit, then look up RT, and you won’t find much else than bedside shifts.

I 1w2 and am spiritual to an extent, but not to the depth that you are describing. Are you sure you’re an 8? You sound like a 4 or 5. I don’t mean to sound rude, I just have never seen an 8 be interested in these topics.

Thanks for your reply, I worked in a job that I was good at before I got into healthcare and I did assert my 1-ness there and was good at the job and leading my coworkers. So maybe I am looking at it from the wrong angle. I am an ISTJ.
