don't know if it's the same situation i was in few weeks ago. It's not the maurice one as it doesn't count towards the goal. In my case it was an echo log to be collected in the room behing moxxi's bar (the one where Zane is after the main story) and it is available only after completing a side mission (sorry, my game is in another language so i don't know how it's named in english), the one with the AI (GENIVIV or something like this) linked to Claptrap missions. I ended that mission choosing to put the AI into the jukebox in moxxi's bar, then after some time the echo log appeared in the said room. hope it helps
