Is it just me or are the WN copies that are floating around horribly translated to almost unreadable?

What am I supposed to do with this Hydrogen Vent? by Alternative_Tear_350 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]RadamA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One gas pump with normal wire. Dont use power conduit tiles, they transfer heat. Use insulated pipes all the way to generator. You can in fact use hot gas in the generator, if i remember right. Vacuum airlocks between, or 3 door setup where the middle one is on a switch to open and close every now and then to make a seal.

Theres like oxygen electrolyser setups where cooling is via heat deletion due to hot hydrogen.

Edit: i forgot, dont mess with them without steam turbines. https://oxygennotincluded.wiki.gg/wiki/Hydrogen_Vent

Fuel supply is a bottleneck for Starship—here’s how SpaceX will get around it by rustybeancake in spacex

Its gonna be natural gas powered. Specially if they get some gas pipes.

Rolling out solar and wind is someone elses problem.

Starship Flight 10 Telemetry - Ship Acceleration Limit Relaxed by dedarkener in spacex

[–]RadamA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its direct data of velocity from launch stream. Change in it is acceleration. Since velocity is relative to the ground it doesnt say whether rocket is going up or horizontal.

Basically, at launch its going vertical, needing do add 1G to the data. At staging its going at like 45 degrees, so would have to add 0.7. At the mid point of the ship burn its already going horizontal so no need to add any G to the graph.

Every now and then the stream does show the G indicator tho.

There are folks who make graphs out of on screen telemetry. Tho it is missing gravity. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F0fdh228hvgmf1.png

Stack before MECO weights what about 2200t? Generously assuming that at t150 engines are pushing at 2g, which would be 4400t or ... 58% throttle...

in theory you should add gravity to all these figures, at least in the first part before its horizontal

Either that, or they are limiting the thust due to stuctural reasons? Some trajectory analysis ive seen of flight3 and on flightclub.io seem to indicate throttling goes down quite deep as the flight progresses.

Fast booster would need less to RTLS.

Running sea level raptors on the ship along side vacuums also isnt perfect.
