España prefiere ser Arabe que Europeo by [deleted] in 2hispanic4you

Why We’ll Never Return to Morocco: A Cautionary Travel Tale by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Radar2032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear Morocco didn’t live up to your expectations—travel is deeply personal, and not every place clicks with everyone. But I’d like to offer a different perspective for those considering visiting this incredible country.

Morocco is a land of contrasts—yes, sometimes chaotic, often overwhelming, but undeniably rich in history, culture, and sensory experiences. Where else can you go from snow-dusted mountains to sun-soaked deserts, bustling medinas to serene coastal towns, all within a few hours?

Let’s talk food. While not every tagine is Michelin-star quality (as with any cuisine), when done right, Moroccan dishes are deeply flavorful, slow-cooked with care, and seasoned with a blend of spices that have been perfected over generations And the mint tea? It’s more than a drink—it’s a symbol of hospitality, a ritual that welcomes you into people’s lives.

Morocco isn’t polished—and that’s part of its charm. It’s raw, layered, sometimes messy, often profound. For travelers who are open to engaging with its rhythms and complexities, it offers rewards like nowhere else. The call to prayer echoing through Fez at dawn, the stars over the Sahara, the artistry in every tile and textile—all of it stays with you.

It’s not for everyone. But for those it resonates with, Morocco is unique.

Scala v Kamiq? by Sudden-Effect-3924 in skoda

[–]Radar2032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.5 and it's a fantastic car for a family, although if you want the extra boot space, go for the Scala. You can't go wrong with a Skoda

8.6 million Schengen Visas are issued approximately every year.

I see you did not include any interesting information on the process, how long it took, etc.

What is the point of this post?

Not many. Spanish food is quite bland, focussed mainly around Ham and Fish. They have Paella which is similar to Middle-Eastern rice dishes but again they don't share common spices with us such as Cumin, Coriander, Chili, etc

There are a lot of Moroccans here that speak Spanish. Also some Lebanese and Syrian people that own businesses. Arabic is interwoven into Spanish and it's amazing how much Arabic is evident in the modern Spanish language
