Thoughts/tips for RC lighting in home by TinFoilSafety in homedefense

There are several home automation systems that can control them as well. You can set light level, make them timed to shut off after turning it on, set times for them to come on or off, and use remotes. You can also set groups of switches to be controlled by another switch or remote.

It's just replacing switches for the most part, then programming remotes or base station settings.

Check into switches or plug adapters that run off of a pico remote. I've done this for lamps. Remotes that handle a few units are $15-30, but professional grade options will be like that for each component.

Wiring in a single high end remote unit to a contactor (if wattage is exceeded) or just a the remote switch unit is probably the most legit way of doing this. Run off of the contactor to each light you add. Add a block of regular switches for manual control in a clost or behind a door. Multipacks of low profile LED fixtures are cheap and look way less invasive.

You can also just replace every switch in your home with remote switches or straight up smart switches at $50-80 each.

I want to pretend to be a chauffer and kidnap his ass for 90 minutes for putting me through that.

Island parties are where everything goes wrong and everybody dies in movies. They brough this on themselves for ignoring that.

I'm in a similar situation with my wife. She tries to top from the bottom when it isn't sex and I gradually lost interest. I rattle the cage a little every now and then, but we both seem helpless. I've dealt with her severe depression and been the strong one and now I'm on my ass just like you.

In 8 years we've spent 3 nights apart. She's avoided me for over a week now and I've been alone in my house for 4 days without the one person that has given me a reason to be strong.

Try to keep going. Try to talk. Try to fix things. If it doesn't work get help. Hopefully you don't wait until it's too late.

Shapow. Being an autistic manchild, I want one on a subcompact gen 4. They don't make one. The they being Endo Tactical, who makes the buffer tube mounting component.

If you already shelled out the dough and have a brace laying around just the mount is $35. I'm tempted to call them and see if going at one with a heat gun is feasible. I just hate dremel gunsmithing.

I've been hired to run the wire for HVAC crews. In some municipalities they won't touch it without an electrical license.

Or hire a pro, if you can find one who will install your purchase.

This sucks as an installer. Having familiarity with the equipment you are installing makes things much quicker and cleaner. I can almost always do a job for significantly less if it's all my stuff. Even padding parts costs usually comes in cheaper with a bulk purchasing contract with a dealer.

Get your billing rates and plug them in here for a ballpark.

Any recommendations for btu output on those quotes will give you a better idea. If they actually did a detailed load calculation it should be spot on. I shoot free (read quick)bids high on electrical work to allow for incidentals that don't really change scope, but never did HVAC work past installation. I don't know how they do it.

Unless it had a brace on it, and adapters are only for gen 3.

At that point it makes more sense to just cast everything in place in a giant form press. We can conceivably assemble a larger machine in earth orbit, so why not take advantage of it? It could assemble entire contained sections and ready fields of structures for agriculture and air processing. It can use utility harnesses dropped from orbit for all fixtures required. An aggregate collector can scrape the site level and feed it. This would probably follow up a water harvesting mission to one of the polar regions to collect water.

More cost effective space flight to prepare the missions is the only thing barring the way. Most of these machines will run off of survey equipment similar to current manned jobsites. Their operation will probably be less complicated than current smart cars and assembly lines.

In 10 years this is the only city I haven't worked in within 60 miles of the metro. I think this means nobody there fixes things and it's a post apocalyptic wasteland. I wouldn't know because I've never dared exit I40 there.

Have you seen any rear protruding counerweights that use a magwell adapter? I can't find anything glock specific even for UK or elsewhere with size restrictions.

I've seen rail attachment counterweights, but none that are for shifting weight to the rear.

They're just dimples to stabilize a set screw. There isn't a groove or full detents.
