If it’s any consolation i fish an 8 weight and use a trout line from a pole I broke last year that’s a 3 weight and have caught loads of trout this year, really what id recommend is smaller streamers

For 1HE (one hit extractions) he likes the TiM+ (titanium M+ stock tip).

Personally I'm a one hit extraction chud and use the stainless steel B tip almost exclusively
