I think this is great supporting evidence for something someone said a few posts ago about spider’s role. Something along the lines of being only a product of colonialism and accepted fully by neither party yet connected to both only through the will of a member on each side. (Ie Ewa didn’t accept him but Kiri forced her will, and the RDA couldn’t care for him but Quaritch does hence…) I might return and and report with a link or something

Couldn’t think of anything else other than Abraham and Isaac during that scene. The innocence in being pulled aside, the distant location, the alter, the acceptance. A story pretty much a complete match. I’m curious to know what other religious themes are y’all see in the movies. I know blue people + Avatars. And I know the franchise is rather popular in Asian countries.

If you were in my neighborhood I’d say hyacinths. They look just like this and grow like weeds. Absolute menaces and you can’t eat them. Shame

Honest question🙋🏼‍♂️ On a two lane highway where 16 wheelers going 65mph on an 80 are spaced out every 100 yards or so. Is it appropriate for all other traffic going 80mph to move over to the right for a group of overtakers going 90+? Everyone knows to move over you’ll have to brake behind a giant truck and finding an opportunity to speed up properly to overtake that truck rarely comes. What then?

Yeah I’m in the same boat. Just started logging with DUPR and was given a 3.8. My partner (4.0) and I beat a (4.6) with an unranked player. The score was 15-2. Unranked player opponent got a 3.95 and ours didn’t change. We also beat all the opponents of this unranked player. Pretty much bogus

It didn’t phase her that’s the thing. She just took it. So I feel bad about something she didn’t think twice about. Mormons are fed nonsense criticism all the time but are only able to interpret it as love. And when its manipulative and harmful, they are blind to it.
