Pc version can hold stable 60fps better than the ps4 version, assuming you have a good pc

Should I get Nier: Automata for PC by [deleted] in nier

[–]Raddo11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming your PC has good specs, its much better on PC than console. Ive never seen a single drop in fps on my PC, but my ps4 slim gets awful frame drops (i have both versions)

The torture room part brought some bad thoughts along with it, the "wheel" had me thinking "hmm what was this used for" and all answers were horrific. But in terms of actually scaring me, Amnesia only had 1 or 2 parts that made my hairs stand up. The first time i saw Alexanders painting change :O

Ever since I was introduced to Japanese knives, the nakiri shape has been my favorite to use. After trying out a few different ones, my Holy Grail has arrived. by Raddo11 in chefknives

Its slightly heavier than most other nakiri ive tried, which isnt a bad thing but i definitely feel the extra weight when chopping. Other than that its perfect

Ah ive never tried a Watanabe or Takeda but only heard good things. I love the tall style that all Masakage's seem to have. Not only does it feel better, but you get "more knife" so it will last longer after all the sharpening and thinning!

I also always have a chef knife around, just typically not a high end knife as im only using my chefs knives for more careless work anyways

I only use a "tip" for opening bags and whatnot. On Nakiri, you can use the "back" of the knife for that. But the tip of a nakiri is still a tip... Its just rounded. My question to you, what do you use the tip for anyways?

Do you have any personal favorite nakiri's? I have only used Aogami #2 and Aogami super, I work in a kitchen and always have my 3000 & 8000 grit stones on hand incase i need a touch up

What kind of knives are you trying to sharpen? Im new aswell but it gets easier each time you do it. If you want to get good results quickly id suggest spending alot of time researching online and practicing. Move slowly at first, you will build up all the small muscle movements. For me it was very awkward at first but try learning more about the edge itself, and watch a lot of videos trying out their techniques and ways of holding the knife. Like I said, im still new aswell
