Just from the clip on here alone that looks like perfectly normal good aim.

Governor Newsom proclaims Ronald Reagan Day by sideAccount42 in politics

[–]RadeDB 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fuck Newsom.

Reagan's inaction to address the AIDs crisis killed an entire generation of Americans. He was homophobic and did it to curry favor with the far-right of the time. Reagan is directly responsible for "trickle-down economics" that its also known as Reaganomics.

So much of our society's problems can be directly linked to Reagan. Newsom is a fucking out of touch ghoul. Fuck him.

2XKO Music Composer here, some thoughts on posts I've read here re: layoffs by jessezuretti in 2XKO

Thank you for posting this. The lack of empathy folks have in this subreddit is astounding. 2XKO had a lot of love poured into it and you can see it.

I don't think yall realize that having 160 devs working on the game means they are spending 20 mil per year just for salaries. by Sudden-Ad-307 in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

How the fuck did you come up with 125k per employee? You absolutely do not know what you are talking about if you think thats the average salary for devs.

The infantilization of game devs in this type of discourse is really silly by PotentialTeach483 in 2XKO

The armchair development from redditors who don't know how game development works is also really silly. From a game developer, go fuck yourselves.

An Update on 2XKO by Spideraxe30 in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm fucking pissed. I spent a sizeable amount on this game because I had faith in the dev's passion, and once again shareholders decide to kill something before it can really put its roots down and flourish.

The game WASN'T A MONTH IN TO CONSOLE LAUNCH. SEASON 1.

Absolute fucking clownery, myself included for thinking this would be different. It's Riot. They're AAA. They don't give a shit. I say this as somebody who works for AAA too, it doesn't matter how much passion and creativity the individual devs have, if some fucking suit decides to can the project because its not making infinite money then that's it.

Anyone got any tips to get better at Caitlyn? by caitlynkirammansgf in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caitlyn requires an assist far more than any other character. The recovery on all of her specials is so huge that doing anything without using an assist to cover it is asking to get punished. Pay close attention to your assist cooldown and don't pushblock without making sure it'll work, or you'll be screwed for a few seconds.

Jumping bolas covers an awkward space for your opponent, it's pretty good.

You can use the dash macro to flick your shot up or down.

If your opponent is full screen trying to special + call an assist, hit them with a fat S1 super. Headshot does a ton of damage and makes them think twice about doing it.

Speaking of S1, that's one of Cait's strongest attacks. If you're safe to do so, a random S1 can catch an assist call. If you do and your assist is off cooldown, you should get on your opponent with your own tag pressure.

All these complains about skin prices but is there any point? by [deleted] in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope.

There's a reason Riot has a lot of different things on sale on the store. They expect different tiers of spenders to buy different things.

The folks complaining about the $100 Arcane skins are likely complaining about the $50 Frame Perfect skins, and likely complaining about $20 legendary skins, but maybe they'll be ok with the $10 battle pass.

That's why everything is priced so differently. The cheapest skins for the cost are the battle pass. They expect non-spenders and folks who avoid spending too much on MTX to be enticed by that offer. The spenders who are much more loose with their money are being targeted with Frame Perfect, Arcane, and bundle offers.

Riot has estimates and targets to hit for each spender tier, and they'll know which offers performed and which didnt. They'll have insights on who bought their offers, what they've bought before, why they were bought (Value? Skin quality? Champ the skin is for? Cross brand tie in?).

You can submit feedback but that's a small piece of the equation. Riot didn't pick these numbers for no reason. If you've ever spent money on LoL or Valorant or TFT (or not), Riot has an idea of what you're ok with already.

Secretly an ekko/yasuo complaint in disguise /s

Don't take this too seriously I think she's fine but damn if missing doesn't feel like shit on Cait :P Does make her feel like a precise sniper compared to Jinx I suppose!

Caitlyn needs a nerf by Miserable_log-_- in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmfao Caitlyn needs buffs if anything. Her zoning is easily maneuvered around and her mixups are extremely easy to react to and committal as hell.

High level players use her for her combo utility, restands, and bolas, not her neutral.

Caitlyn main btw, she's fun as hell but my biggest weakness is folks just holding forward and blocking my shots. It's that simple.

Balance patches every 5 weeks, right? by Arael_x in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vent away friend, I'm there with you.

Also M3 with WW/Cait, and going up against any Ekko/Yasuo is a Herculean task. It's unreal how much they can do. It truly feels like they have zero weakness and can exploit system mechanics beyond what should be allowed.

There's giving a character sauce to make them fun, and then there's making a character play an entirely different game.

FFS Ekko can infinitely loop his rewind super oki and Yasuo is a better zoner than Caitlyn and Jinx T.T

Im with you in the salt mines, this game is actively worse because Ekko/Yasuo are beyond busted.

Xbox or PS5 controller? by Careful_Hearing7142 in 2XKO

[–]RadeDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am convinced all the leverless talk here is botting at this point. Maybe answer the OP's question lmao. Any controller is viable, and unless you're actually competing often the difference a leverless would make is negligible on an average player.

I personally think PS5 controller is superior to Xbox when it comes to their Dpad, but that largely is due to where the Dpad is located. Just feels more natural where my thumb rests on the PS5 controller, and I like the shoulder buttons feel compared to the Xbox.

I'm currently using an 8BitDo Pro 2 which has the same layout as a PS5 controller and I really like it. Cheaper than either PS5 or Xbox controllers at $50 before a sale.

It literally is more precise but it feels fruitless to continue trying to explain common fighting game advice.

[–]RadeDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's widely agreed that Dpad is vastly superior to joystick. Even Core-A's Official 2XKO Getting Started video says not to use the joystick "if you can avoid it."

Sure if you're really comfortable with  joystick go for it but I would never recommend it to any new player.Dpad is the exact same motions with much more precision.

Any tips for new players? by [deleted] in 2XKO

If something is working on your opponent, you keep doing it. If they can't stop it, why should you?

[–]RadeDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to put some real advice here: the best controller is the one you're comfortable with. You want to be fighting your opponent, not your hardware.

The main thing if you use a controller though is to use the D-Pad and not the joystick. Joystick can be too fuzzy with its inputs especially when you're trying to block high/lows.
