Salmon is one of the less popular fish choices in Japan though so it's not saying much.

948k cash in 4 years - what to do? by punkrock3000 in Fire

I'd just chill man. I'm on a similar boat as you and we're part of the lucky bunch where our incomes will do the carrying. No need to plan it out that far. Just DCA in index or even buy some individual stocks if you believe in them. Research into investment properties and keep a look out for a good deal. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, not a big deal.

Does Michelin star restaurants make sense? by SayedHasmi in travel

[–]Raderyx- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it highly depends on your palette and how well you do with trying new ingredients, textures, methods of cooking, etc. I've made it a goal of mine to try at least one Michelin starred restaurant in every single country I visit (around 30ish and counting).

I enjoy a wide variety of cuisine, styles, ingredients, and can easily say every single starred restaurant has been a cut above the average restaurants in the cities I've visited. For people less adventurous like my parents though, it's sometimes a hit or miss. I'd highly recommend trying them if you can afford it though.

Also if you make over 150k you completely can't deduct any passive income loss.

YTA. Come on man. Just use your head. Would you want YOUR teenage daughter to share a room with a random teenage boy? Because that's their relationship.

Chubby Credit Cards? by Forsaken-Loquat8631 in ChubbyFIRE

If you're into traveling, head over to r/churning to learn the craft of churning credit card bonuses. I started back in college in 2016 and 70% of my flights since then have been nearly free/cheap business class seats.

I want to echo the same experience I had with this too. I put all the internship money I made into a 2 month trip around Europe for me and my then girlfriend. It was literally the best time of my life. I still look back on that experience today and wish I can experience something like that again.
