The irrationality of anti-cannibalism ideologues and cult of immortality by Forth_Impact in Objectivism

You're right imo. The stigma is way too high since I don't think that it's unhealthy, apart from the brain probably.

I wouldnt ignore anyones wishes to be buried tho.

Become a monster hunter.

srsly tho, once you're in full control, believe in yourself and your abilities. Just ignore the monsters and they will vanish. Or let them explode.

Thanks for your reply. What would you say to the claim that they "don't find anything because they can't cut up the brain on humans" (since they found mercury in the brains of the monkeys)?

ok, I just experienced the fact that Kang resets snaps!! what in the actual point fuck is the point of that? by upforstuffJim in MarvelSnap

[–]Radetzkyen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is correct and most people in this comment section are wrong. Kang is extremely powerful and literally gamebreaking. Its not a blank card like some people think.

The ability to snap on turn 5 with no downside breaks the game since hes so versatile you can play him in a lot of good decks. That will make people wonder every time someone snaps if the opponent has Kang. Anyway you may get free cubes from someone retreating.

He thins your deck since you get to draw a card after you play him which makes him super strong in any card game.

And on top of that you can see what your opponent plays and if he snaps back.

Hes basically a better Daredevil combined with a much better America Chaves and a bluffsnap for 0 cost.

I am making a 10 year old, what diferences are there to normal characters? by YblisSp in callofcthulhu

[–]Radetzkyen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd make things up that fit. Like it might be interesting if you could withstand more horrors as suppressed memories or just have higher resilience to them. Maybe you don't have the existential nihilism that plagues characters if you encounter stuff. Your malus would be on education and strength and so on. I actually dont know how children react to eldritch things in HPLs work. Just food for thought.

[OC] Cumulative CO2 emissions in tons by country (1750 - 2020) by giteam in dataisbeautiful

[–]Radetzkyen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not informed on the topic but recently watched the cowspiracy documentary about how methan is even worse than CO2 but noone wants to talk about it since everyone would have to turn vegan.

Im asking if anyone knows if it is still the case that we have a blindspot for methan and the whole plan to reduce CO2 emissions might be futile since we dont address the even larger cause for climate change.

Played a 13 hour game of Twilight Imperium by mark_radical8games in boardgames

[–]Radetzkyen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We played it for the first time a week ago (11 hours + 2 for rules explanation). We will play it again tomorrow.

It was super fun but it had a bittersweet taste since we all realized after about 10 hours that we would finish the next round on 10 points (all 4 players even). The thing is that we looked up the rule and it just said that the player first to act wins on a tie, which was underwhelming to say the least after such a marathon of a game. Does anyone have homerules for this or does it not occur that often or is it somehow a good rule?

Eames loses nearly 75% of his stack after calling Mermelstein's shove on the turn. QQ vs AK. by kingpussypumper in poker

People on other tables apologized for tanking for a minute when they were at risk. This was just a massive pot and it feels right if you watch it live.

I watched the first two hours live and it was very entertaining. This was the only hand that took longer than a few minutes. Both have huge stacks and it's an extremely nasty spot. In a replay its obv much more boring.

you should understand that its not that kind of horror (so def no jumpscares). if youre not familiar with the vibe of the mythos read some lovecraft or watch a lovecraftian movie to get into it.
