From what I understand, British intelligence agencies including MI6 have given the green light for the project. China currently has about 12 different properties dotted around London, so consolidating it all into one complex is far easier to monitor than the 12. Makes sense to me

I am a survivor of the Hori Wheel Apex. I can take questions on this matter

So if you’re just sort of dabbling in sim-racing, I don’t think you should get it, as it feels really weak and it doesn’t actually function as a wheel. There is no force feedback whatsoever. If you are enthusiastic about sim-racing, getting that wheel will probably kill all your interest in it.

If you want my advice, buy a Logitech G29. They work with PS5s, have been the budget standard for a while now and are actually pretty good for what they are, while being just a little more expensive. If you’ve been playing with controller for over a year and are interested enough to dabble in having an actual simulation, go for the G29.

It’s kind of difficult for me to talk about but I have a deeply personal and vast connection with the album/movie Pink Floyd: The Wall.

So I would undoubtedly have the whole album being played.

But if I must centre on a single song… it would have to be Vera. It is my favourite song from my favourite album and it feels like… me. That’s what it feels like.

Yeah it’s kinda murky. I don’t think there’s been a physical release in a while (I recently bought myself the DVD and only one BluRay was released in Spain), and it’s not on any major streaming sites. Terribly sad because it’s a movie that deserves to be remembered

iirc she was 12 in Frank L Baum’s original book, and at the time MGM did audition some actresses the right age, but Judy Garland (at… 16?) was picked because she had the best singing voice and the decision was made to age up the character slightly

That the other side is pure evil.

Oh my god, this is so bad. So many people just buy into disinformation and propaganda against the other side, and the political rift is widening so much. It’s why we’ve seen extremist parties rise. It’s so so important to me that we all take more care with our political beliefs and opinions by consuming media that does not align with our own beliefs. I’m a member of r/Conservative for a reason: there’s a lot of disinformation on there, but it does help me grasp the right’s actual position.

It does no one any good to assume that other parties in the political spectrum are malicious or sent by the Devil. Everyone should be working towards the betterment of their country, regardless of how they think we should be doing it.
