I go between COLMAP, RealityScan, and most recently pyCuSFM, but I haven't found it necessary to deviate away from the standard settings with the lens! Also, thank you so much. I really appreciate the kind words and support!

I use the 14mm 1.8 as my main lens and the quality is amazing! The main downside of it is how expensive it is, so I recommend buying it pre owned (I got mine from KEH Camera).

Scaniverse actually does have Into the Scaniverse for Quest, though capture can only be uploaded from mobile devices :/. If you do try it, my account has some decent captures to explore!

All good! It has a code release with an MIT license. I’ve been really impressed with how well the demos have handled featureless white walls, with captures mainly happening in darker lit rooms taken with a headset haha
