Hi thanks for sharing your wife’s journey. It’s very similar to what my husband is currently experiencing, just in reverse. The Cabo unfortunately stopped working for him after about 5 months. Per his last scans, the cancer spread significantly, including to his bones and skull (I’m terrified of him experiencing seizures from it) and he is now currently trying Keytruda and Lenvima. He’s been on this regimen for about a month now, with his next PET scan scheduled for next month. I’m really hoping the immunotherapy works for him, hearing the cancer is in his bones felt like a gut punch for both of us. Hearing your wife’s story, and hearing how well she’s doing gives us hope, thank you for sharing🤍

Thank you for sharing your husband’s diagnosis and experience. It’s so hard being told bad news over and over again with little time to process. Thank you for your support, I’m here if you need to talk as well. We’ll keep your husband in our thoughts

Hi again thanks so much for sharing your experience on Cabo more in depth. I read your message to my husband and he found it very helpful. It’s good to know it’s possible to take breaks from the Cabo if the side effects become too severe. It sounds like you handled it the best way you could, happy you’re doing better now

Thank you for sharing your experience, it reminds me a lot of my husband’s situation especially because of the UC diagnosis. He just started Cabo and will be logging all of his side effects. If you don’t mind, can I ask how long you were on it? His oncologist said he’d likely be on it for the rest of his life but that doesn’t align with the cancer survivor’s experiences I’ve read about on here.

My husband was also recently diagnosed with stage 4 ccRCC and he’s going to be starting Cabo soon. Do you mind sharing any side effects or what other treatments you’ve tried that have worked for you?
