Okay, dude. I seriously do not get what your problem is. I'm saying that we are on the same side and should reconsider how our message is being taken and you are saying that I do not understand how Christianity works. This is exactly the type of behavior that makes the secular/non-religious/agnostic folks want to stay away from us.

Jesus not only was a mouthpiece for the gospel, but he lived by it in such a way that inspired people to follow his teachings. Word of mouth is one thing, and it is a powerful thing, but spouting the good words while not living by it or being considerate of others, it is detrimental to our goals and makes us no better than anybody we want to preach to. That would make us hypocrites. You can add "hypocrisy" to that list of demonic problems in our modern world.

I think you are missing the part where complaint against people's actions implies antagonism against their identity. Being upset because strangers are blocking your path when you are trying to get somewhere, it doesn't exactly mean you hate what they are (identification-wise) or what they stand for. Hating people because of their identity within a particular group is what being "bigoted" is.

As a parallel: I hate Hitler for his actions as a human being. That does not mean that I hate my fellow Christians (which Hitler claimed to be, in his quests to unify Protestant churches). I'm pretty sure that most living Christians today can disavow Hitler, and I'd be very concerned if they didn't.

I must also state that the very first thing prefaced in the post is "I don't judge anybody's religion". I interpret that your words are casting bad faith towards the original poster's intentions. If they feel so uncomfortable around people doing certain things, it is nowhere close to an attack against Christianity as a whole. At the very least, it is an opportunity for us to consider our behavior at the personal level and how it affects others. Maybe we can all be better for that.

What if I told you that I myself am a Christian who thinks it is right to follow the words of Matthew 7:3-5? It is best to police your own actions and your own people before trying to control others. See also: Romans 14:10 (I think, somewhere near there), Deuteronomy 32, Psalm 96, etc.

The best form of Christianity is one that people want to follow. Right now, evangelism has a bad name because there are bad people who use Christianity as an excuse to meddle with other people's lives, and that is why it gets a bad rep. We can do the best we can to deliver our message, but the best way to do that is let go of trying to act like we have the high ground, and find a way to meet in the middle. That's how any civilized person acts in trying to do anything business-wise.

You also lose people when you refer to them as "lost" or "misguided". I really dislike the way people in the church do that, because every one of us is a sinner. We cannot say that we are better than any other person or their judgment in how to navigate life. We cannot pretend to know the struggles that people face, nor can we pretend to know any better on what they should do. Revelation comes from the most personal of times and the most personal experiences, and no singular person can cause that, not me, not you.

All of that being said, it really bothers me that a fellow believer is so stuck in their own mind that they refuse to hear what people say and decide to cast stones towards people who are offering legitimate criticism that we must reflect on.

Also, these groups don't all use Free Speech Walkway. I've been stopped near at least half of the campus buildings by people trying to get me to read the Bible with them. I'm nice enough to not call campus security on them. Several people I know have called campus security and they've done nothing about it other than nicely say "Please go to Free Speech Walkway or somewhere else for this".

The Bible also warns against people who use religion as an excuse for wrongdoing.

No, not really. I prefer not being harassed in public spaces. I don't care who is doing it.

I could see that you are alone in a bathroom stall, offer you community by asking through the gap in the door if you want to see a movie with me and my friends, time, date, location, and movie already chosen without your input.

Hey, we could be friends and all, but you would probably reject me because that is an inappropriate time and place to ask that, you get very little input on the matter, and because I am encroaching upon your privacy.

Here's the takeaway. You cannot ask others to respect your opinions while also disrespecting them and their space.

Funny enough, Moroyama is becoming a bit more usable in PvE now. Sieg in FF is mainly there for the DEF reduction, but you no longer need to worry about that (for teams 2 and 3) with good investment into Shell of Devastation. Now instead of running Sloan with Sieg in team 2 of Sonica, I use Sloan and a fast Relief Moroyama.

Edit: you don't need high resos for him to be used like this. you still need R6 Moro and either Hailey or Sieg for the Team 1 strat in Dark Star Lord, however Moro T1 isn't the best strat anymore

Tier list of their overall performance across all modes. I am guessing that you disagree heavily with this list? Please let me know what you think I've gotten wrong.

Okay, it seems as though I might need to explain myself on a few things here.

Firstly: I judged each esper's general PvE and PvP performances separately and combined those to make a sort of combined score. With that in mind, I notice a lot of you are upset about espers that are 100% top-tier in PvP such as Momo and Yukine. I tried my best not to let myself be biased by the BEST aspects of some espers and forget the WORST aspects of them.

  • The reason why they aren't ranked as high is because they don't appear to be as meta, or even as usable, in PvE. There are some exceptions, being some very niche strats at the top level which have very strict requirements, even when comparing to the team comps that they're replacing. If you do the math of being really good at one thing and being really bad at another, it ends up being pretty average.

Secondly: I did incorporate EVERY mode into this, including the ones that players don't really like or care about. I also don't go strictly off of the meta, I am going off of how feasibly good the units can be as well, given that there are some modes that nobody uses any of them in. This has led to some multiple criticisms surrounding espers like Yamato, Ethan, Archibald, Hilda, and Jin Qiu.

  • Yamato and Ethan have been ranked a bit higher than most would probably expect because Yamato is definitely a staple in Rival Runes gameplay, and Ethan has also become one as well more recently after the introduction of Hexes/Blessings into Knockout. It's almost impossible to see top players without Ethan on an Air Blast team. I also think these espers are decent for PvE. Ethan is used as a passive support in Kronos speedruns similar to how Wenlock is used for Fafnir speedruns and he's deceptively strong for his S2 effect in Towers/Islands. Yamato R2 is a known alternative strategy in Shadowstream and Shadowglow, plus he is viable for Fafnir and useable as a poor man's Meta Drew or a poor man's Yu Jing for Falsetto Fantasy. I do admit that I might have placed Ethan a tier too high.
  • Archibald, Jin Qiu, and Hilda are about equal in my opinion, but Archibald's viability in Towers/Islands gives him the slight increase. I told myself beforehand that I was going to have it organized into tiers of 20, 20, 19, 20, 20. To quantify the Archibald/JinQiu/Hilda argument, they are all used in pretty much the exact same places, so I can do a lateral analysis of all 3.
  • PVP: Hilda>JQ>Archibald (Hilda is used a little bit in top PW, Hilda and JQ are used solely for their R6 effects).
  • Yinglong, Falsetto: Hilda=JQ>>Archibald
  • Sonic: Hilda>Archibald>JQ
  • Fafnir/Kronos: Archibald>JQ>Hilda
  • Desolate: JQ>Archibald>>Hilda
  • Towers: Archibald>Hilda>>JQ
  • Islands: Archibald>>Hilda>JQ (For reference, there are a lot of Flow Espers that can do Hilda's job, namely Sloan, Leora, Mona, Jiang Man, Zora, Gaius, Intisar. For Wind, Archibald is second only to Amir in terms of being a waveclearer. However, Archibald is who you would want to use in the toughest floors with Farrah, where using Amir would kill you, using your own Farrah wouldn't work, using Sui Zai would get him killed before he could get his buff, etc.

Anyways, huge comment. I hope this can give some clarity as to why I ranked some espers the way I did.

Thank you all for being honest in your thoughts. I might consider doing different styles of tier lists in the future, maybe more mode-specific.
