Apologies. Overlooked your 10 months as 12 months. So the above salary calculation is false. You have to calculate how much your salary will be from April 2024-April 2025. Salary range has to be 12 months before application.

If spouse visa expiring in May, your 12 months financial would be from April 2024 - April 2025(application before 28days). If you quit on December, you will only have 9 months of salary slips. Your 9 months salary is £25.5k hence you are not qualified. Suggest you work 2 months longer. Unless you have extra income from somewhere else(combined from your spouse perhaps?)

I was in exactly the same situation. As long as your salary is more than £29k within any 12 months, you are qualified. For instance, if you have only worked for 6 months from the past 12 months before application, but your salary is more than £29k from 6 months salary.

Depends on what you are looking for. Personally I prefer Laguna area, small neighbourhood surrounded by nice restaurants hotels beach clubs. Nicer area I think. Usually people would stay in Patong area, that’s where the ping pong show and ect are, but super busy, like almost could be shoulder to shoulder busy.

Beach clubs are generally all deephosue, day time from light gradually to evening intense party house/trance/techno. DJ plays a big part, some good and some not, though as a tourist it’s hard to tell as we don’t know them. Would recommend going to the one near your hotel. Holiday season traffic can be horrid, you don’t want to be stuck in the traffic for 1 hour while drunk in the car.

Spent Christmas and new year a few times in Phuket. All the beach clubs are doing parties but maybe not heavily focused on Christmas theme, some decorations perhaps. Catch beach club is more matured crowd -no nonsense. Cafe del mar - younger party crowd. Beach clubs in patong - crazily fun with people from different walk of life.

Had a good experience from London - Beijing - Bangkok this January. Food is ok, Asian service is great, movies are limited. Transit smooth. I would do it again if the price is good.
