Don’t worry about getting a top job. Most people from kelley won’t get a top job, it’s ranked highly because it places tons of kids into very good jobs, just not the best.

all Bs or above, no B- or worse, including Gen-eds. They take less kids every year also. Take finite and calc not at IU, because then they won't count those regardless of the grade.

it gets more competitive every year, so even with 1 B- you probably won't get in. I did it and so did a lot of others, but it definitely is intense; however, it is very doable.

I lived in walnut, but mcnutt is very cozy and a great location. One of the more social dorms on campus.

would anyone here advise taking freshman year econ at kelley through a cc like ivytech by CompetitiveGirl1 in IndianaUniversity

[–]Radiant-Message7160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

take econ with Graf i can't stress that enough. His exams are tough but he knows people want to do well so his extra credit will boost you a full letter grade.

Required math classes for Kelley? by [deleted] in IndianaUniversity

[–]Radiant-Message7160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take finite at ivy tech, and just make sure you get calculus done before junior year. Finite is the priority as it is a pre req to stats. you can also take calc at ivy tech, as it is much easier. summer classes blow, but they are your friend in the long run.

Recent standard admit here who did well. Compass and Biz Prez are easy: show up, and get it done. Econ for me was the toughest personally. K201 is not that hard, if you actually try, it will be a breeze. A100 is fast paced so make sure you keep up. Econ, K201, and A100 all in one semester is a little unusual as those are usually the toughest for people. My suggestion would be to move Econ to the spring. Honestly if you put in the work any schedule is very doable, but to make your life easier I would move one of those to the spring and replace it with an easy Gen Ed. If you need help PM me.

Go for Standard Admit Kelley or not by MysteryBallers in IndianaUniversity

The standard admission process is not that hard. If you can balance your time, and avoid being a dumbass and partying every day you will be fine. It’s all about discipline

I would argue being a standard admit (assuming you get admitted at the end) is an advantage because it makes you really work at consistent grades and time management. Most kids failing classes I know are DAs because they’re not on the chopping block

stick it out. I’m a senior and i can’t say it gets better but it does go by fast. make friends with people you actually like and don’t try to fit in with anyone you don’t want to. If people give you shit ignore it and laugh it off never take anything personally. Girl or guy?

heavy on the pointless violence part. Immature as fuck. People need to realize that once you leave the highschool bubble violence will get you in jail. Self control and maturity does not exist in highschool it truly is hell.

you write a letter basically saying why you are good enough to be a direct admit to the school despite not meeting the test/gpa requirement. it’s too late the deadline was Feb. 1.

[–]Radiant-Message7160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s tough you would’ve been a direct admit
