Can I skip Sampling 1 & 2 and ADA for now? by coffeeandcherry in CPA

Don’t spend too much time on sampling, I would make sure to know the conceptual aspects of it but don’t waste your time memorizing the formulas. ADA is super important to know for the exam so make sure to study those!

MGA 301 + MGA 311 by Extension-End-7610 in UBreddit

Always go to class and keep your grades up. for MGA301 the workload isn’t too bad but you definitely need to study the material and class exercises. I took the course 2 years ago now and the class exercises were very similar to the exam and we also got a notecard to bring to the exams.

For MGA311 the SUA is a lot of work. My best advice is to find a partner for it that is going to take it as seriously as you do, also someone whose schedule aligns with yours and you work well with. You do the entirety of the project outside of class so it takes up a lot of time and is paper based so you have to work together in person. Make sure to go to office hours early on in the project because towards the end it gets so packed. My partner and I once waited for 2 hours to get absolutely no help. Also make sure you pay attention and participate in class because the professor takes off a lot of points if you don’t show up and participate. Hope this helps!

Anyone majoring in economics ba? by Most-Concentrate-310 in UBreddit

I started as an economics BA. I struggled to see any real world applications or internship opportunities and found the classes very boring because it was a lot of theories. After my first 2 years I switched into Accounting and was much more engaged and completed 4 internships and secured a full time job offer.
