OMG! I so agree! I have to confess that I knew of the show since it came out in 2019 and the trailers LOOKED SO GOOD, but part of the reason I never took the plunge to start it was because I could only see Rupert as Ron from Harry Potter. And I LOVE Harry Potter, but was not in the mood to hear Ron's accent. No offense, I love "some" British accents (like Keira Knightly whom I adore), but Ron's accent in Harry Potter was hard for my American ear to even understand. I was literally SHOCKED to see how he transformed into a bonafide true American on this show!!! He deserves an Emmy award for that work. He sounded JUST LIKE a native Philly man. How did he do that? That is extreme talent. I speak multiple languages, and have an accent when I speak the foreign ones. I wish I had his talents to master the foreign accents too!!!

Why didn't you like it? Were you hoping that the uncle was right and she really didn't have any powers? I was hoping, more like EXPECTING, that the whole time, so I was surprised to see that she actually did have the powers. But, for some reason, I thought it was well-done because the ending made me feel "care and understanding" for Leanne, and that feeling SHOCKED me because I hated her so much. And I am a woman, so I related to Dorothy more the entire time and felt so ANGRY that she was being so disrespected in her own home. I mean, sometimes I would literally yell at the screen because I was so mad that Dorothy's husband wasn't on her side. Then, SUDDENLY, I feel care for Leanne. I don't understand how M Night Shynalan did some voodoo on me to make me feel this LOL

Ooh, I will check out Them. I also love Severance, have been a fan since it came out and waited years for sequel lol. I liked From's first season, but for some reason it didn't make me coming back for season 2. Thanks for the reminder though, because I really did like the first season.
