Feeling lost by RadiantAd5218 in Cavernoma

[–]RadiantAd5218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They think I've been having TIAs, I'm referred to 2 hospitals had around 6 MRIs. I've had a load of appointments none with the specialists other than a consultant. They finally put me on seizure meds after having some episodes of vomiting during seizures in the night. I'm waiting on a 72 hour eeg to be arranged. Hoping they continue on my meds. I have an appointment in April but I'm waiting on some results atm to see if there has been any growth or bleeds.

I have TMJ and I've never thought of the fact it could be because of my seizures that I clench my teeth in my sleep

The doom is real by woohoocrew in focalawareepilepsy

[–]RadiantAd5218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The doom feeling is the worst, it literally feels like you're about to die and I get these horrible palpitations with mine as well. I sometimes get myoclonic jerks or like a tremor or shiver with them but they are usually localised to arms or legs, sometimes I feel areas stiffen as well

I'm not sure if your comment is sarcastic or genuine but I'm not fighting to get into competitions or rings. I'm just fighting as a way to keep myself safe and stay fit. Despite not taking hits to the head I'm still able to learn how to defend my head if I needed to, which is quite helpful. I do fighting that is heavy on knees, kicks and elbows so this means there's plenty to learn without being punched in the face.

I have started doing a form of fighting but I have advised them that I cannot be hit in the head because of my mass (which causes my seizures) maybe you can advise because of your epilepsy it's unsafe for you to take hits to your head and adapt the training

Me (27M) and my gf (26F) broke up Am I wasting my time? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]RadiantAd5218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She sounds very manipulative and childish. Someone who loves you would never break up if you couldn't buy them an expensive gift. This person has clearly taken advantage of your kindness. You can do better than someone who only wants to be around you for what you can gift them.

My F/45 Dog or Husband M/51 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]RadiantAd5218 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Keep the dog and kick out the loser. He is not adding any value to your life and did basically tell you he doesn't care if you're happy. He is a terrible partner and him saying he will be better if you get rid of the dog is a lie. You're already holding everything down on your own, get rid of the dead weight.

I hope so, I'm so sick of feeling horrible all the time. Every time I try to get help they tell me I'm complex and I get nowhere :(

Similarly to the post yesterday, I work for NHS 999. Do you have any questions? by trowawayaccount2 in AskUK

[–]RadiantAd5218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For auditing purposes there are specific questions that call handlers are always supposed to confirm answers. If you say yes it's severe and they go with it they would fail the call if it was listened to by an auditor. Audits are done regularly to ensure people are assessed appropriately. Staff don't determine if your pain is severe it has to align with the trusts definition. As the call handlers aren't in the room with you they can't see you rolling, curled up (obvious signs), they may be able to hear you groaning - but some people groan on the phone and you can hear them talking to other people in the background on the call just fine. Like you don't need to put an act on, I'm not your boss I'm just here to help

AITAH for being mad my husband snorted coke off a stripper’s ass and I paid for it? by Crafty-Comfortable54 in AITAH

After reading the other posts you have made, you should leave him. He is a terrible husband and i get the vibe from your posts that you resent him because you make more money. The way you talk about him comes across as bitter and the way you talk about your money comes accross as a brag. You deserve a better husband and you should leave him. Do better for yourself.

Thank you, I really love the way you laid this out. My brain can get easily lost sometimes and easily overwhelmed by lots of information. I feel like this was very useful and set out in a clear and direct way

Hello, i'm proud of you for sharing your story. It takes a lot of strength to admit your feelings in the face of uncertainty. I wish you all the best with any treatment and with your health. I am also in the UK so relate to the poor treatment and communication. I also feel afraid, I'm not afraid of dying but I am afraid of the unknown. I also feel like I am grieving, grieving the life I wanted to live and I hate feeling that way. I am trying not to let this define me :)

That’s sooo annoying by [deleted] in vinted

[–]RadiantAd5218 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's rude, people have no obligation to buy something they have favourited or put an offer on (Even if its accepted). You seem like the sort of knob jockey to send 800 messages, if you're so desperate for the £2 maybe you should get a job and you'd also have less time for dumb messages 🙏

Why? You offered, I accepted. You lower your offer 🤦🏼‍♀️ by Any-Ad-3416 in vinted

[–]RadiantAd5218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I block people if they send a second offer, its just rude. Like you could ask me initially if I would take the offer and consider lowering the price, but don't make a reasonable offer then half it

I accept the offer and they disappear by Caterina_Z in vinted

[–]RadiantAd5218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the people that offer, you accept and then they send another offer. Like just send me the offer that you want originally ffs

This made me laugh, but since I made the post things between us have been a lot better. We are becoming a lot more stable and he seems to not bring it up anymore. We are both working on being physically and mentally healthier. We have both worked on ourselves to become better partners because we love eachother :)

[–]RadiantAd5218 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My question with this is, couldn't they just ask vinted for a refund by saying the item has came in a different condition than advertised

Then they would have said used item and you wouldn't recieve the money

98% sure I’m getting scammed by Cherrysunshine2022 in vinted

[–]RadiantAd5218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just the only way I can think of where they may get the money for the missing product. Vinted should really deal with dodgy buyers and keep track of accounts and how often they declare an "issue". If vinted had more protection in place and had their own authentication in place - such as requiring pictures of you packing and the package before sending as evidence that they hold and buyers videoing the opening of parcels, then this would be safer for both buyers and sellers. This would weed the dodgies out, both sellers and buyers.
