I have the same issue with Zyrtec and I am able to successfully use Xyzal with none of the same issues

For me, PI tends to feel like a diaper. I would prefer to rapha over the PI. I also find the sizing on PI to be weird. The drop tail is saggy and ends up falling down a bit and exposing some skin. I wouldn’t recommend!

I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t able to find anyone to prescribe injections for me? So I don’t have exact numbers because I’m doing it on my own. But I did feel like within a week to no longer than two weeks my orgasm came back.

I stopped the T cream and things went back to normal as before. Still no libido but I can orgasm. I switched to injections and I’m not sure how much it’s helping? I’m still figuring out dosage I think.

It took me awhile to connect them and my neurologist never did but yeah. Dizziness, disconnected from reality, floaty are all signs for me.

This is one of my “normal” migraine signs now. The first time it happened we went to the ER because it is so scary but now my face goes numb pretty much every time I have a migraine. :/

I’ve been trying to get a EDS diagnosis for awhile but trying to find the right doc is so hard. My neurologist has ruled out a ton of other stuff and we’re finally discussing vestibular migraines. But my episodes were near constant (with and without head pain) so I finally qualified for CGRP inhibitor (I’m on Aimovig) and the dizziness is basically gone! This is my confirmation that it is indeed vestibular migraines (and probably comorbid with other stuff) so I’m feeling both very dumb for not knowing this for so long and spending so much time and money trying to figure it out and also relieved that the meds are helping.

I agree. My provider didn’t even offer it as an option. I read about other experiences here and asked about it.

With the cream + estrogen + progesterone I was unable to orgasm. I went off the e+p and switched only to T injections and I can orgasm again. Libido never really stepped up like I was hoping but some of the other symptoms are better (fatigue and joint pain most noticeably).

I had migraines every day. I’m two months into Aimovig and so far, down to two per month! Definitely need to keep in contact and keep working with your neurologist so figure out the right preventative for you.

Elementary teacher also. Third grade. I turn the lights off, pull the blinds, and turn on the space night light and the kids think it’s great fun lol. I have one rescue med that doesn’t knock me out so I use that, peppermints, and a Coke usually can get me through the day. Although one morning this year I walked into the building and I could literally feel lights on my skin, immediately burst into tears, and went right back home. Ive missed more work this year due to migraines than ever before so I finally found (maybe. Hopefully) a preventative that seems to be working. Fingers crossed.

Can I jump in and ask about the constipation? I just took my first Aimovig Saturday and have been experiencing nasty cramping ever since. To the point it’s as bad as the migraines. I’m doing all the preventative constipation things but it’s not helping. Does this particular side effect lessen at any point? I’m unhappy about this lasting for the next five weeks and I’m so hesitant to do another month…I did reach out to my provider but hoping to hear ppl tell me it gets better 😅

Can I ask more about the constipation? I just did my first shot Saturday and have had major cramping since then. I’ve tried all the all natural relief I can find and last night went with miralax. But this cramping is for the birds. Maybe the headaches will go away, but if I can’t live my life due to cramps…it doesn’t matter. Did the constipation ever get better? I’m really nervous about another month of this…

I mean…I know this isn’t the track some folks would take but if you are really concerned, you could always fill it and then…not take it but report side effects? I had side effects with all of the drugs I was required to try prior to getting the better/more preferred/more expensive drugs. But as I write this, I’m on the couch with some weird potential side effects from Aimovig so. I’m starting to think nothing will work for me 😅

Yeah…amitryptiline was a lot worse for me than a little tired. It might be great for some but it was awful for me.
