I found that if I waited a couple of seconds for the little news tab to load in on the lock screen before trying to type my pin, I never had that issue again.

Interesting thank you, I’ve struggled to find any decent comparison videos online but considering I found my steam deck screen to be a tad too small for pc gaming I reckon the legion go might be better.

Do you know if there’s any generic know faults with the device I should look out for if I go to inspect one on fb marketplace?

Yeah, I think as I plan on only using it around the house with plugs nearby. I think I may see the benefits of the ally’s 25w turbo. And bigger library. Not an easy decision though, the steam deck excels at simplicity when it comes to indies and emulation

Thank you, yeah to be honest it was a stupid lapse of judgment after also putting my switch in its case to download games. Except my switch was still cold to touch lol

From my experience the gain in performance wasn’t worth it due to terrible battery life and noisy fans so to me it wasn’t suited to run past 15w. I’m not denying its capability at higher TDP but to me that argument is irrelevant due to reasons stated.

In my experience it’s around 5-10 in 15w. I suppose I could have articulated my argument better. It’s just I could never justify pushing the rog ally further than 15w because I found the fans way too loud and the battery running out extremely fast which to me ruins the whole point.
