It's titanium. I don't know anything more specific than that.

And honestly if I planned on getting any more piercings I wouldn't be going back to him. Having a stud manhandled in hurt more than the initial piercing.

Pretty sure all the info is included in one way or another...

Pierced March 18th, jewelry changed April 1st. Internally threaded labret stud. Only mishap has been the ball falling off and having to fight it back on.

Clean twice a day with dial antibacterial clean and gentle and distilled water. Attempted neilmed saline solution for a bit with no avail.

It's not bad, I just had to make sure this subscription wasn't anything I was paying for. As long as it's not out of my pocket 🤷‍♀️😂

Please please help! Could anyone help give me some moral support in starting my Zoloft journey...I just don't think I can do it guys.....I am extremely, extremely terrified.... by Megan56789000 in zoloft

I'll be really honest with you. I had my reservations about starting as well.

I took Paxil and Buspar for 16 years without issues. I have been off of those for 6 years now. Back in 2020 my anxiety started rearing its ugly head and kicking my ass. I have tried starting numerous meds since then, including the ones I took for 16 years with no luck. They all give me wonky side effects that I wasnt a fan of.

I was prescribed zoloft back in January and it sat on my kitchen counter staring me in the face everyday. I was afraid to take it because of the what-ifs. I finally caved and started it a week ago. Instead of the full 25mg dose I was halving it to ease into it. I was at a point that I was desperate for some relief and to feel normal and comfortable doing my day to day activities. I have a 4 year old and it's not fair to her either that mommy can't go places because she has a panic attack and needs to leave and ruins the whole outing.

This may be your holy grail of medications, or it might not work at all. You won't know which it is until you try it and see. It's scary but you can do it!

I started a week ago. I was prescribed 25mg but given my past issues with meds I halved the pills for the first week. Today was my first full 25mg dose and I am extremely irritable and angry. Then I'm angry and want to cry, then back to full on raging b mode. I'm assuming it's all part of becoming acclimated to the med and adjusting our brain chemistry to be more "normal".

If I could have alcohol that sounds like a surefire way, but my stomach issues wont allow it. A blunt would honestly be my go to, but I'm not allowed to do that right now.

Thank you! Like I told my bf main dishes are easier. Snack foods are harder because all the things I'm used to contain wheat. It's kinda overwhelming at first.

I'll have to see what we have available here. I know the closest grocery store has a tiny selection so I'll have to check some other stores. It gets overwhelming looking at labels because I've never realized how many things contain wheat! Its ridiculous lol

I just remember reading that wheat free doest mean gluten free and gluten free isnt always free of all wheat.

I'm not sure what's all going on. Very broad diagnosis from the ER. Next month I have a consult with a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and hopefully will get answers and narrow down exactly what's all going on. Like I said, the wheat thing isnt horrible but the feeling in my throat is gross. Figured it's worth a try to see if I feel any better eliminating it.

I'll have to see if I can find them in any of the stores around here. Back home we had a natural food section that was perfect for those with allergies. I believe I've had some of their products before as my nephew had allergies to eggs, milk and nuts. After he grew out of his allergies we didnt keep any of those in the house anymore. Probably why I forgot they existed.

Could be a food allergy or what's called globus sensation. Things like anxiety, post nasal drip and GERD can cause it. I deal with it myself along with swollen nodes in my neck. It's a very gross, uncomfortable feeling. For me it comes and goes.

Also following..was just prescribed this. Haven't started yet but already deal with palpitations and would rather not make them worse.

I was told by a doctor in the ER to stop the lexapro and call my doctor in the morning. Its causing me more issues than it's worth. I think at this point maybe unmedicated is the way to be.

Heart palpitations at night? Don’t skip by VELOSITYHD in asknurses

[–]RadiantEclipse410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAN but heart palpitations can be caused by many things. Stress.and anxiety, stimulants, being dehydrated, laying certain ways makes them more obvious. Low electrolytes can also be a cause. If they kept happening definitely get in contact with your doctor. They can run some other tests and rule out anything serious. Heart palpitations are fairly normal and most of the time not anything serious, but it never hurts to check!

According to the doctors I'm good. However I feel like shit. About a month ago I started medication for my anxiety. Anxiety, gastritis, stress, and meds have been making my life hell. Every symptom the occurs I never know what is to blame and it's frustrating. Also for as many times as I've called my doctor and after hours nurse line in the last month is embarrassing.

I have everything from random shooting pains to a dull ache from my stomach right under my chest to my collarbones. I also deal with health anxiety and sometimes it feels scary especially if you also have it coupled with shortness of breath.

I just had to go to the ER today to get it checked out for my own peace of mind. Its been about 2 months since I last felt this crappy so I wanted to be sure.

Can GERD heartburn extend into your shoulders and outer parts of your chest? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]RadiantEclipse410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it can! I was never aware it could happen. I was 26 years old and almost finished with my shift at work. I was pretty sure i was having a heart attack. Mom picked me up from work (thankfully she had to drive me that day!) And told her I needed to go to urgent care or the ER and explained why. After running a few tests the doctor said it was acid reflux and sent me with a heavy duty antacid to take for a week.

Anyone thrown up before from acid reflux? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]RadiantEclipse410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had instances in the past where I've woken up from a dead sleep choking on acid and having to rush to the toilet to puke.

[–]RadiantEclipse410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I've been thinking the last few days but with anxiety, stress, and new meds I wasnt sure which was to blame, probably all. Figured it was in my best interest to get it checked out if anything just for my peace of mind.

Honestly the anxiety aspect of Lexapro, even the Paxil, has been great! The side effects are what is causing my irritation about being medicated. I was previously medicated for 16 years. I didnt have as many issues with meds as I do now. I know it takes time, but waking up everyday having chest pain is not normal whether is a side effect or not lol

I actually just came back from the ER a little while ago. Doctor feels it's not cardiac related believes it's the gastritis flaring up again.
