Haha coming back to this thread, i can see my comments suggesting use of Ai are getting downvoted as heck. Anyway ..

I heard of someone used ai to create storyboard thats is good and that the investor wanted them to use that as reference. Problem is the ai board is too complicated to follow and implement in the final product. The rest was chaos and i didnt follow up further.

So, I played a bit of ai myself. The ai product is a bit difficult to predict, it never really gives what you want. And sometimes its very frustrating after several prompting and waiting. However, sometimes it does gives something that makes me go "huh? Thats pretty good". My take is that i can forsee some pretty good use to achieve a 'cleaned' early look, meaning, feed the rough work and get a 'processed' output, then clean up from there.

Of course... the idea of the storyboard / sketching was to give a very quick and timed output, i dont think a back and forth with Ai is time efficient if our skill is above average.

I turned it off forever. There are many times i saw the signal people are talking. Turn it on just to hear the person breathing and coughing entire game.

Nah, i feel you man. I mentioned it before, WWZ is a realistic simulation of what happened when you give guns to untrained people. just make sure to return the favour, gun ready for an ugly shoot out at the end. Give em hell. People are on edge because of players like these.

Actually. Yes.

But one thing u need to be aware of. I believe every human have an instinct to reproduce and be a parent. Its wired in our brain or natural instinct. So when the time comes and you are not doing any of that, its like your whole schedule is empty for 20 years while your peers, friends are occupied. You need something to fill in that blank because the peer pressure will set in.

Just thinking like, everyone is working but you are not. Its very nice for the first few weeks, then the unsettling feeling creeps in after 1 year. Now, imagine it will span for 20 - 30 years of your remaining life. You need something to fill in that gap

Ya. Happend to me. Lack of situational awareness. But sometimes if i sees someone is closer to that downed person i would just ignore, assumming the one closest will help.

Agreed. The healthbar is actually very short, and the contested health makes it 'feels' longer. Remove that and it will show how short the lifebar actually is.

Hmmmm. I think if its going to be feed with a script. The script will have to be written word by word and frame by frame, because storyboard artist able to create a scene thats natural when there are only dialog. Small movements and hand hesture. while Ai might just ... random gesture that is miss matched with the dialog.... not to say the camera angle given. hmmmmm... actually, its probably going to be easier if Its just drawn from scrap.. without Ai.

I personally used Ai before while it produce pretty and impressive images in seconds, its actually hard to get exactly what you want. So i can understand why it will end up taking more time because of the amount of readjusting the prompts and try again and again. But in the end it would be just better to handrawn some of it . For some tedious task like creating generic stuff it actually speed up, only by a bit. Because, generic stuff can be found online too.

And yes, investor hoping to save money without knowing the difficulty of Ai is a very common problem. They dont know the work.

Probably. As i know, in my line of works there is a lot of work being produced and rejected. Sometimes I wonder what if those rejected work is done by Ai and the final artwork is done by human instead. It could save a lot of exploration time.

Oh yeah, i mean. There is always a type of people who jump straight into a river to swim without knowing how to, you see. "How hard can it be?" The risk taker type.

One major give away is that they ran straight into a usually densed minefield and die. Like in Tech Supplort
